Change in egg number on icsi #2

Our first fresh cycle went well we got 18 eggs 10 fertilized and we had 6 blasts so five where frozen.

I'm now 37 and its a full 12 months since my last fresh cycle surely my ovarian reserve can't have dropped that much?

Had ec today and got 6 eggs?? Had a good ten follicles on the right and 8 on the left but they were all very small.

I guess I'm looking for hope that of my six little eggs there is still potential to make it to transfer? Any stories welcome.....

As I have said to a number of people......during my last cycle I was on the maximum dose of drugs I could have and still only managed to produce two viable eggs. My twins came from them! It can and will happen xxx

Hi Hun,

I just wanted to say that my DS comes from 6 eggs and 4 fertilised. Since then I've had cycles with many more mature eggs, but no BFP!! So more eggs doesn't equate to a baby and vice versa. I so pleased to read that 5 out of 6 fertilised. Way a great rate woohoo

Xxx
