How do I know if I'm ovulating..?

Hi, just wondering how I can tell if I am ovulating? Is the stingy egg white substance enough to tell?

DH had unsuccessful reversal and only has a handful of swimmers so highly highly unlikely (hence ICSI) but I just thought I might as well try and time things right if possible...

I get a bit confused with all the technical speak of BBT charting etc, have never had to do period math before...

TIA xxx

Ooooh are you trying for another then Dusky? : D

Stringy egg-white CM is really good indicator that ovulation is imminent, although it may not always occur. Temp charting will show when you have ovulated - I always found it a bit of a faff as you have to take your temp at pretty much the same time every morning, the FertilityFriend website is quite useful for charting. Have you tried the ovulation-predictor sticks? You can get them cheap off of Ebay and they work for about 99% of ladies (unfortunately I was in the 1% )

Will keep xfingers xfingers for a natural miracle for you hun! xxx

Oooooo honey are you trying again :)

I would say EWCM is a huge indicator, plus I also get ovulation pains. But I do agree with Moogle the ovulation predictor sticks are great and cheap off ebay, they worked for me - just didn't conceive lol!

Good luck honey

Ah thanks lovely ladies! Not exactly actively trying again...DH would be more than happy not to tbh...he hates the whole treatment thing (who doesn't!) and said he doesn't know if he could go through all that again but that we'd talk about it in a few years. He said wouldn't it be nice if we could just 'do it' and hey presto, YES!!

So...seeing as I had my first bleed 2 weeks ago since dd2, and have the stringy (not stingy! :) ) stuff atm (sorry TMI!) I thought may as well pray for a miracle....

I never got the hang of ov kits either but have a great app on my phone. It charts all sorts of things every day and tells me when I am most fertile. Mine is called ovuView but there are a few out there.

Good luck xx
