Tinker ell, I am so sorry you have this. I had this onmy first ICSI and was in hospital for two weeks. The pain is horrendous isn't it. Have you had a scan/CXR to see how much fluid you have. I had to have lots drained from abdo and chest. What painkillers are you on. You need to keep drinking water, little and often, and eat lots of protein rich foods. Have you had bloods taken? I know it doesn't feel like it but it will go away, I hope it is very soon.

Lots of luck with your FET, fantastic to have so many embies, the only silver lining to OHSS xxx

Hi no I havent been for anything yet. The hospital should be ringng me today with appointment to go in and be checked. I know there is nothing they can do but I hope they can see an end to it somewhere. Im back on buserelin for 7 days and cabergoline pills half every other day. Like you say diane all I can have is paracetamol doesnt touch me at all. They tell you to have bedrest but the pain is worse when I lie down, Im in tears every night, pain all day but can just about cope with that. Thanks ladies xx

Sorry to hear you are poorly :(
I had moderte ohss and I agree it was agony. More so than when I had an ectopic and my tube ruptured.Luckily I didnt have it bad enough for et to be cancelled but as soon as I got a bfp it returned a lot worse.
At one point I had to have cat scan and xray for a suspected clot on my lung. It turned put to be fluid. I could hardly walk or breath -
The only thing could do was take codiene and paracetomol. I had to obviously be careful due to pregnancy & it didnt start to subside until 11th week.

Hang in there it does get better,, althpugh it feels never ending and so so painful..

Get well soon x
