Could this be a pregnancy?

Hi all,

not been on the site for a while but I am hoping it could be our month ... though I am probably only hoping!

I have been feeling very nauseous and lightheaded now for about 3 weeks, my period was due 2 1/2 weeks ago, when it was 3 days late I was starting to hope it may have been our month and I did a test which was negative and he day after AF started. It was quite clotty (sorry if TMI) more so than usual, heavy for 2 days. 1 day midium and then nealry suddently stopped. Normally my periods are 5 / 6 days and quite heavy / medium for most of the time.

Anyway, I did not think much more of it, other than I am still feeling very nauseous most od the time and now is 4 days I have also developed lower back ache.

I have done a bit of searching on the net - probably should have not done :whoops: and there seems to be quite a bit about heavy bleeding with clots and BFP ... could it be even though the test I did 3 days after my period was due was negative?

I don't have a test at home ... will have to wait until tomorrow ... for the time being putting up with the nausea.

Went to see the doctor, as I did a test which was neative and then had bleeding, he thinks it is cystitis. Waiting for the urine test results tomorrow to see if I need antibiotics.

Hey hun

I think I would be asking for a blood test to test for the hcg levels, particularly if you are still having your symptoms. The blood test will categorically say yes or no and will not leave you in any doubt as to what is going on?

It is so hard as symptoms can manifest and be there just to add to your confusion. I hope that you get an answer to why you feel nauseous. (and that it is the "good" answer).
