Thank you Dusky! I feel very lucky indeed, didn't know whether to laugh or cry - still don't!

We put back one day 5 blastocyst. I have very few symptoms at all, felt a bit dodgy - light headed and generally off - 4 days post transfer but since then only the odd cramp, no boob pain or anything. If I was to nit-pick, I've lost my appetite a bit and have started gagging while brushing my teeth. I feel very tired today but that's probably because I've breathed a big sigh of relief now, with the first hurdle jumped. I also had some brown crinone last weekend which panicked me because I didn't spot at all with my last bfp, but everyone was right and it was irrelevant.

Hoping with all my might that all of you other lovely FET-ers come join me!

Wow nearly there hon, so much luck to you!!

I wrote down every teeny thing but tbh I didn't see them as symptoms, that's why I was so convinced it hadn't worked, about 4/5 days after FET I wiped and had the smallest amount of something, it wasn't even brown, just the tiniest spot of colour. Had two twinges, but they were so small I thought they were insignificant, as soon as I felt it it was gone. I didn't have sore boobs or any of the obvious symptoms that I was hoping for.

Dusky: I've just read that you got your BFP
Oh wow I'm so delighted for you :party:

I had alot of drama over the last few days and been posting properly about it on a different forum...........basically It was looking good for a few days. was testing with First Response. After testing on 10DPO where it was negative, got a2nd line on 12 DPO , it got stronger and last Saturday it was looking very promising.
When I tested on OTD the First Response 2nd line was visbly weaker but the Clear Blue told me I was "Pregnant 1/2 wks" :hairout

Went in for my bloods and they told me that the HCG reading was 13 (very low). Yesterday went back into have them repeated and it was confirmed as negative as HCG had halved to 7 :tears:

Ah well It's only my first IVF/FET and the fact that it may have tried to implant and came away has given me some hope for the next FET cycle. Have my review booked for next wek so we'll see what the doc thinks about how it went.

Had my transfer on sat 11th had 3 frozen embryos put back , all 8 cell and embryologist was really pleased with them sAid it was like they were fresh . Thisnis my 3 rd attempt and last at moment as there's no friaries left . I'm testing next Wednesday

Hi Girls: well I had my review last week and was advised to get two more blood tests done. One for immunity and the other to see how the blood clots. As my transfer went very well and I got a BFP (though it was chemical pregnancy) my consultant said he said that I should get pregnant from one of the frozen embies....I do hope he is right!
We are going to go for another FET probably around April/May and I am just waiting for the results of my tests and also for my AF to arrive.

Dusky : I have 9 snowbabies left so fingers crossed I'l get a successful transfer out of one of them xfingers

HI Busby,

I had a fresh cycle and got a bfp and then a bleed a week later. I had my FET Jan. And am just waiting to see if its stuck! My doc said FETs are better as there is not so much stress on the body. etc.

Hi gang,

I hope you don't mind me joining this thread. I am officially PUPO :thumbsup2:

This is for frozen cycles right?

(sorry Im hopeless at knowing what all the acronyms stand for so hope Im in the right place).

I had a bit of a scary morning after having 7 frozen blasts leftover from my last cycle, I got the phone calls to say things weren't going well and we had lost 5 of them. I totally freaked out and was convinced this cycle was ending with no transfer but got a call late this afternoon to say the last 2 were doing ok and I should come up to the hospital.

So I have had 2 frozen blasts put back [zx126]

What a roller coaster of emotions! Anyway we have been told they are of average grade at 4BC and 3BC (slightly different grading for blasts apparently??) All I care about though is that we are in with a chance. Hope you guys are all well, the whole frozen thing is quite new to me so fingers crossed.

We have been lucky before with a fresh cycle (which Im thankful for every day) so Im hoping to bring some of that luck over to this thread high5

I really hate the 2ww though obviously am very appreciative to have even gotten this far.

Its weird so far its really different. Im not sure if its because I have DD and she is a handful already, or if its because the clinic kind of led us to believe the quality of embys were not too good that Im a bit indifferent :pah

at this point in time and I kind of feel like it hasn't worked.

Last time I was sooooooo excited I could barely contain myself. I think maybe subcontiously Im preparing myself for bad news - not sure really!

Ask me again in a few days time, I will probably be mental by then boobpoke

trying to work out if Im having any symptoms etc. and trying to stop myself from testing every day lmao

Hi Ladies

I've not been on here for quite a while but have popped in from time to time to see what everyones been upto.

I had FET yesterday with a 4 cell embie put back where it belongs. This is our 5th transfer but our 6th start of treatment, one of our FET didn't happen as neither of our 2 embies survived the thaw last year

We are just keeping xfingers

and praying that this is our time.

Would be nice to have a chat with you after staying away for the last 2 tx's

Hi all

Thought I'd drop by to update that my 2nd FET cycle is underway. Hope to have a transfer around the middle of May.

Meds have been tweaked quite a bit so hoping that this cycle will be a positive one.

Hi everyone,

Just thought I would pop in and say hello : D

Totally new to FET, my DH and I have our first appointment on 15th May, vaginal scan, semen analysis, talk to nurse etc!

I feel very weird about it all and very isolated, I have no idea why as we were blessed enough with our daughter on fresh ICSI cycle. I have been afraid to post incase I sound ridiculous, but it is hard when no-one around you understands anything about the process (and why would they if they have not been through it!) and no-one understands the emotional side to it all.

Just looking for a hug really lol

Different clinics have slighly different approaches to FET depending on why you'er having to have FET. At my clinic (Bourn Hall) I started off DR with the nasal spray, I then had to take HRT tablets to help thicken the lining and then the progesterone support just before transfer day. It's a lot less stressful as there were no injections so the hormones weren't quite as bad.

I'm sure when you go for your app your consultant will explain all to you, but if you have any questions before there I'm sure there will be someone on here who can help.

Yeah I think it is just the anticipation, as you say when we speak to them maybe I will feel better? Thank you for the info and also the virtual hug

We need treatment due to DH low sprem count and motility, we have one Grade 1 frozen embryo, not sure what the chances are of it un-freezing ok though really :-(
