My name is Gemma Cabezas and I work in the International Department of Ginemed, a fertility clinic in Seville (Spain). My message is for those who are considering the possibility of going abroad for fertility treatment.

Let me introduce our centre. Since our establishment, Ginemed Clinics have been working in the field of Assisted Reproduction. In 2008 we became the first fertility clinic in Spain to integrate a High Resolution Microscope and the first in Andalusia with ISO 9001 Certification. As you may know, egg donation in Spain is anonymous and altruistic. Thanks to our wide range of donors, we have no waiting time to be matched. For that reason, lots of patients from all over the world (Italy, France, Lebanon…) have already undergone our treatments.Our clinics are located at the heart of Seville, at just 10 minutes walking from the city centre. Seville is linked by air with London, East Midlands and other cities of UK and by high speed train with the main cities of Spain, such us Madrid or Barcelona.

Concerning the visits to our clinic, you only need to come once for the embryo transfer. The initial consultation is not necessary but advisable.

At Ginemed Clinics, we will assist you in every step on the path to achieving a pregnancy using your own eggs or, if that is not possible, through the best Egg Donor Programme in Europe!

Egg Donation in Spain is anonymous and voluntary and at Ginemed Clinics, our donors are matched with the recipient according to physical characteristics (phenotype): hair colour, skin colour, eye colour, etc.

We guarantee a minimum number of 8 matured eggs (80% of the donors provide more than 10). The remaining embryos may be cryopreserved by vitrification, providing additional opportunities for pregnancy in the short term.

In 96% of the cases, we perform two embryo transfers: in the first transfer fresh embryos are used, while in the second, cryopreserved embryos are transferred.

At Ginemed Clinics, we are committed to providing the best medical and scientific services, using the most modern technology. During the treatment, one of our experienced specialists in fertility will assist you in English. In addition, a medical assistant from our International Department will be in contact providing you with all the information you need regarding the process.
