YAY!!!

Is it totally wrong to feeling excited because I have pretty low blocking antibodies on my LAD B and T cells (8.5 and 19.2)?? At last I have an ickle reason for 6 implantaion failures..... With some MTHFR and factor V leiden on the side.

After 7 years of ttc, I finally have some kind of reason instead of 'unexplained and it must be poor egg quality'. (When I get minimum of 10 eggs and to blastocyst every time?)

Thank you Mr G for listening and giving more of a s**t than Mr T did.

Got a follow up on monday................. Watch this space.

Hey Hun seems like ages ago since our January thread doesn't it? Hope you been well, I like you have just had the level 1 and 2 tests done and couple of things were high and one was low indicating why implantation could have failed seen as I get 10-16 eggs everytime and half always fertilise. I am so excited that adding extra drugs next time to sort this out could be third time lucky I understand where you coming from completely it just such a relief to know.
When you thinking of trying again? Will we be cycling together again? I starting FET with the extra immune drugs hopefully and my one day 6 blasto after august AF so be about 14th September xxxxx

That's great KTB that you feel excited. It's nice to know that something else can be tried to give you a better chance of getting your BFP.

happydance is a happy dance appropriate :snigger: Well you know what I mean. That's great news and a HUGE reason as to why you've had to endure so much. Clotting issues have so much to answer for (mine only kicked in at early pg!) and the LAD thing is also a prob I had/have.

So pleased that you have a real actionplan to support the next round! Bring it on :D

Mr G or Mr T

Hi there ktb,
gr8 news that you finally have answers.
I noticed you said that Dr T didnt listen to you and you went to Dr g to do the immune tests. Does Dr T at the argc not do the full immunes?
I have noticed that some ladies are going to argc for their ivf cycle but getting the immune tests and immune treatment done by Dr G.
Why is this?
I was thnking of going to argc for the immune testing and cycle but am now wondering if it would b better to go to Dr G?
Would prefer just going to one place..argc

Hi Honeyz,

Mr T does do them, he just doesn't do the DQ ALpha test and LAD tests, which were are main problem. He does not seem to think they are valid, but as they are my main problem, apart from slightly high NK killing power.

I had two cycles at ARGC, but they were not willing to do anything else really for me, they just wanted to wing it and do the same all over again, which hasn't worked 5 times for me, so thought I should move elsewhere. I could do immune with Dr G and the rest with Mr T, but thought after meeting Dr G, that he seemed more open to everything, so I would just make life easier and do the whole shebang with him.

I am now on a waiting list for LIT, and can start my next cycle after having that.

Hope this helps!
