Have your say panel

‘Fertility: have your say’ patients panel
Following on from our previous communication about our ‘Fertility – have your say patients panel, we’d like to give you an update.
We recently carried out our online ‘Fertility – have your say’ survey and had an excellent response from panel members and gathered some really good feedback. From the survey results the HFEA are doing a variety of things:· Looking into ways of getting information about our services earlier to patients in their treatment journey (including GPs and secondary fertility services), · Closer inspection of clinics around consent, costed treatment plans and counselling, · Investigating better ways of gathering patient feedback on their clinic experience and · developing the content on our website around why success rates may seem out of date. Unfortunately with the current government freeze on communications spend, we cannot continue running the panel over the next year. However, the HFEA recognise the importance of patient feedback in decision making and will continue to consult via online surveys. We will advertise these surveys in a number of ways; · the HFEA twitter feed – follow us on twitter· the HFEA website· on our E-newsletter – sign up now· as well as patient support message boards and websites Once again, thank you for your support over the year.
