Another BFN

Well even with all the immune meds we have had another BFN. Is this just bad luck or are we doomed. I had so much faith in this working and i still cant get my head around why its failed. We are going to see dr shaker tomorrow does any one have any idea what kinda things we should be asking him? I have no idea???? x x x x

Hey there and so sorry for your BFN. I wish I knew more about immunology so that I could help but I don't - I am sure someone will be along soon.

Sorry again.

:hugs: so sorry Jude.

The sad fact is that immune tx doesn't necessarily guarantee you a bfp or a full term baby at the end. There have been one or two members who have still gone on to get -ve results or bfp's where they have still lost babies. Perhaps you need to ask questions about the whole cycle to make sure that response & quality were good before asking about the immune side?

Also if you consider that this immune tx was your "first" that had a real chance, then it might help to think of forgetting the other 5 tx cycles you've had and regard this as the start of a new chapter. In other words if this was your first tx cycle you'd be thinking about statistics and the numbers game again.

I probably haven't explained myself clearly - but I'm just trying to give you a bit of positivity to focus on.... i.e. it doesn't mean its over or that it won't ever work hun. Big hugs.

Jude i am so so so sorry. This is how i felt after my third cycle. I really thought it was going to work because it was my first immune cycle but when i asked Dr. Gorgy what went wrong? He said it is still a numbers game and just because i had an immune cycle it does not guarantee a BFP. I know it is so so so so unfair. I know how tired you feel and fed up. I am sorry...sending you lots of love and hugs and praying you feel better soon...xoxo
