Hiya!!

Welcome to FZ!!!

I'm sure you'll find loads of information and support here!!

Have you had bloods and things done? They should have done these at the beginning. They should tell you whether you ovulate. Are you having bloods done with clomid too. Only blood tests can confirm ovulation.

:hugs:

Welcome on board chatterbox137 - ive learnt so much since i joined this forum and had lots of support - and you will always find someone who you can realte to which really helps.

If your not ovulating on clomid i know some of the girls have moved to injections which sounds like what your Dr is looking to do. Whens your next appointment? have you had a hysterscopy?

Re IUI - there is a IUI thread that you might be interested in - there is a few of on there at the momement- some waiting to start IUI and some in progress.
Good luck

Hi Flic,

Had bloods done in the beginning, however its difficult to determine when to do these as I have different cycle length each month. I always have a period but cycle lengths vary from 30 days to 45 days. Im currently day 37 and still nothing off the last cycle. So along with unexplained fertility is that I have irregular ovulation. I havent been diagnosed with PCOS, but im going to question this on my next appointment. I dont get bloods done on clomid, theyve just been scanning me every other day from day 10 in my cycle to see if the follicles have grown.

Hi JLC,
I had a hystercsopy which showed that I have 2 fallopian tubes that are working, so no problems there at all. My next appointment is in July but they want me to try the highest clomid dose when my cycle appears.

Thank you both for your help and support x

Hiya,

They should really be doing bloods to confirm whether or not you are actually ovulating. I was on clomid, got OHSS, had a load of cysts and still never ovulated! They need to be doing a CD21 progesterone test.

Do you have your blood results, someone will be able to have a look and explain everything to you.

Sorry you're having to go through this chick.

:hugs:
