DF's swim up test

Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with a niggling question...to cut a long story short DF's SA results came back in August as "normal" and I was prescribed x3 months Clomid 50mg to induce ovulation. After 3 BFN's with this dose of Clomid working for me...our cons has now req DF does a "swim up" test. She gave us no indiction of what this was for ... as far as we were aware we were "good to go", with only my side of things being abit heywire. I'm more worried about this than DF is, as he is a very optimistic person (i'm not so) xfingers . Does this mean that his "normal" swimmers may indeed be doing backstroke and not front crawl? Or is she checkin' something else for a different reason? mmmmmm
I'm sorry if this is vague, and I can't shed any light on what his SA results were other than "normal", (what we were told and happy with at the time)... I have been given my last 3 months of clomid and we do not go back to c cons until March. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you! :D

He hasn't been able to drop off the sample yet due to snow & ice and bus service being cancelled - it'd just be nice for a quick heads up on what it's all about. Was begining to wonder if anyone was out there haha... thanks for your reply Prinny x
