ICSI in Istanbul

Wow Im starting to feel like Im getting somewhere thanks to this website.

I have contacted today via skype a company called visitandcare (which I found out about on here) who have recommended a hospital in Istanbul. She said they had a great reputation and quoted £2800 for the ICSI with meds and accomodation and pick up and drop off to and from the airport.

I have read some posts on here that people have needed pre meds at an additional cost.

My question is has anyone used the clinic in istanbul ?

Before I joined this site I was totally in the dark so thank you all for the info I have managed to get from here and Merry Christmas to you all.

Hi Amanda

Im guessung your talking about the Jinimed in istanbul.

I was going to fly out there before i was aware of the egg share programme in the uk and had many coversation with the doctors who spoke very good english, there prices are brilliant and a friend of mine has just flew back after her treatment there, she is pregnant with twins after 6 failed ivf/icsi cycles! she is over the moon!

I dont have enough personal experiance but they do have a website and if you email them they will come back to you/call you pretty quick! :)

All the best xxx

HEy there

Sorry, I don't know anything at all about Istanbul, just wanted to wish you :goodluck:.

That does seem a very good price indeed! With regard to other costs, you may have to have some blood tests done in the UK beforehand, I paid about £500 for myself and my DH - this was to check for HIV, Hepatitus, etc etc. You may also need to arrange for a clinic in the UK to carry out your monitoring scans during your cycle, expect to pay about £100 per ultrasound.

Hope all goes well for you.

Love Gracie
