Linea negra

I think I had one of these when I was pregnant but I couldn't say for sure as I couldn't see it! Anyway, now I have no line but the skin inside my belly button is dark brown as if all the linea negra shrivelled up and curled up in there! It looks as if I haven't cleaned it for months. I am going on holiday in a few weeks and will be showing off my flabby tummy to all and sundry, anyone any ideas for getting the skin to turn back to its normal pink/white colour?

I wonder if bio oil would help improve the colour.

Mine looked dirty for ages but did come clean eventually. Maybe try a swimming cossie or tankini for your hols instead!

Tried a tankini, can't find one to fit. Maybe I'll just hide it with a feeding bubba!

I got rid of it by giving it a bit of a scrub with a face cloth. I think it was just dead skin that was hanging around. Lovely!

Linea negra (the real one) will fade slowly as your hormone levels normalise. I didn't have one during my pregnancy but some years ago I got one thanks to being on the pill (very uncommon) and it faded over 3-4 months after I stopped taking the pill...
