well, my levels last wednesday at 5.5 weeks were 561. Friday my levels were at 399 Sunday had gone up to 679 I started spotting on Saturday morning so ended up in A&E on Sunday, with more brown spotting. Levels had gone up to 679. But today, Monday, i've started bleeding. Not heavy heavy as AF but a watery bleed and cramps, so i guess it's game over for me..My surprise bfp lasted very little. Thanx alot guys I went to the scan this morning and the first thing he said when he saw the BETA (561) was that he WON'T be able to see anything as his machine only picks up from 1,000 up. When he did the internal scan he saw the lining of the uterus very thick, blood pumping through and a black dot....he said that i'm definately pregnant but maybe not far enough...maybe i ovulated very late in my cycle as i did BD on Cycle day 6 and 15. Tomorrow i'll be going to private doc early in the morning, i'll take my hcg results and he'll probably ask me to do another hcg either same day or the Friday, don't know if he'll do a scan or not, it's up to him i suppose. And i'm pretty sure he'll tell me to go in again a week or two later for a scan. Thanx again, you've put my mind at ease. xxx
I don't know where to put this, so please move were appropriate. I'm starting to panic. I tested positive two weeks ago. My last af started on the 30th October. On cycle day 28 i tested positive. I did five pregnancy tests all positive. Three digital 1 -2 weeks. Now cycle day 41 i had an HCG done and it's 561 Is that normal...I think it's too low. Hi Kerry Cosy Doctors only carried out that test because i was having problems with my bowels and they thought i had crone's disease. (which i don't) but apparently when they try to diagnose crone's, an antibodies blood test was asked for. I don't know if the fertility clinics do those tests. But i suppose if you go to a private clinic and ask for that blood test, they'll do it. Might be a bit expensive though, but its worth a try. Good Luck

Loopy hun i'm soooo sorry, i really thought it was going to be good news. Anyhow wait a couple of more days and if af doesn't show up test again. I know exactly how your feeling, but don't give up, ever. Take your time to think things over, cry all you want and vent all you want. Hi Stacey I haven't got a clue....well the only thing i can think of is that i've been soooooooooo relaxed (apart from eating like a pig which is normal for me), but i've been going away for the past three weekends up the coast, walking alot. I don't know if that's got anything to do with it or not but i like to think it is. Loopy don't look much into the symptoms hun, it'll only make you go (easier said than done i know) lol. When do you test???

What i still find confusing is why i haven't had af pains, nothing at all, not even feeling uncomfortable. Hey you I had two follies, one on each side with the 4 IUI's and they all measured between 17mm & 20mm. I think 1 of them went up to 21mm. I was on Gonal F 75. Trigger shot was a day and half before insemination, so about 30 odd hours. Rene is right, they can survive that long, and that was also confirmed by my doc.
