Try Dream Feed? also growth spurt info?

Hi all Just wondered if anyone had any advice / comments on dream feeds / growth spurts . My LO is 11 weeks and was sleeping aprox 7pm - 2/3am then feed and sleep until 7am ish. He then had a couple of nights where he went from 7-8pm ish to 4.30am and I managed to give him his dummy only and he then got up at 6am. I thought wonderful he is going to start sleeping through soon YEY!!!! however he then seems to be having a growth spurt and started waking at 10-11pm for an extra feed which he has ne...

How much should baby be feeding?

Hiya Flic I really wouldnt worry too much our LO was always way above what he should have been having and has always been in the top 10th quartile! however the last couple of weeks he has been messing with his food and reduced his oz again, however he has had a cold so perhaps thats why. He is now building up oz again and every day can be different sometime he wants food every 3 hours sometimes 4 hours and sometimes he wants top ups in between? he also does not always have the same oz each feed....

Refusing feeds and pushing teat out of mouth - Help!

Hi I am now trying 4 hourly or before if he cries for it! he usually feeds: 8am, 11-12, 3-4pm and then I try and get one down him 6-7 when he is ready for bed but this is the one he really fights with! he then wakes at 2-3am for a top up (about 4oz). I have tried to give him a dummy at 2-3am which he will have for about 1/2 hour and then still want a bottle. I am convinced if he would take a proper bottle before bed he MAY start to miss the 2-3am feed? this weekend I have tried 4 hourly and toda...

HELP!!

Hi my LO is 10 weeks on Sat and is doing the same? he was having 6-7 oz every 3 hours and sometimes a couple of oz extra in between. He is now having 3-5 oz every 3 hours ish. Sometimes he will have 5-6 but seems to get frustrated and pushes bottle out and get upset! not had his injections yet as he had a bit of a cold which i thought was the reason he was fussy with his food but it seems to be continuing? he has put on weight still and seems ok but I cant help but worry he isnt feeding well, he...

Overdue and pelvic pain

Hi all I was due yesterday but nothing as yet! however I have suffered for quite a while with bad hip, back and pelvic pain. The last couple of days this seems to have to worse esp the pelvic pain it really hurts to walk around and feels like its going to collapse? not sure if this is due to LO moving further down? also when he moves I have feel it more "down there" now, again I wonder if this is because he is lower now. I have dropped and I am 2-3 / 5ths or was as at last week. Anyone got simil...

backpain and constipation feelings just started

Hi Ros I would be interested to know what your doc says. I have had lower back ache for about a week now and funny tummy crampy aches. My mw has done a urine test just to be sure but thinks its just my body stretching and getting ready? I also have swollen hands and feet now too having a maternity pedicure today. Like the girls say you have to keep an eye on the swelling and let your mw or GP know if it gets worse. I was told to phone them if I can no longer see my ankle bones? I had a bit of a ...

hiccups

Hi all For the past few weeks LO has had hiccups on average about 3-4 times a days, however over the last couple of days he has only had them 1-2 times a day? anyone else had days with less? should I speak to my midwife? I had a check up Fri and all was ok. His movements are different now as he is getting bigger but he still wriggles around quite a lot, but again he has some days where he moves more than others? xx

Pregnancy after loss chat

Welcome Nicola and congrats on your BFP. Just try and take one day at a time and hopefully as time goes on with every scan / check up you will be reassured. Its completely normal to be nervous and when we have been through what we have. I think we will always worry. I still dont quite believe I am having a baby now even though I have seen and feel him, I dont think I will actually rest until the LO is here! Take care and keep talking on here it does help xx

I know I may be asking a dim question but can he get his feet / arms right round there? anyone else had this? Also I dont think he has a pattern of movments per say, each day is different and some days quieter than others, although I do usually feel more when lay down in the evenings? anyone else no real set ...
