Anyone starting in September?

Sorry to read your news Janelle. x I wonder if anyone on here has been in my situation. I had frozen transfer on 1 November , and got BFP on 12 November it said 2-3 on clear blue , I had tested earlier and I got a BFP on day 7 post 5 day transfer. I have recently tested on day 13 and 15 and in the morning it is 1-2 weeks on clearblue and in afternoon it goes to 2-3 weeks. My question is when should the monitor change to 3+ weeks? I am worried I may be having another chemical pregnancy but surpri...

Anybody starting in oct :-)

I had 2 private with origin which is now closed .... but this was private and it felt like a conveyor belt ... I then had my nhs treatment at rfc and had a better experience on nhs which surprised me as it wasn’t general consensus on here but my comparator was origin. If nhs fet doesn’t work I will consider gcrm but my nhs consultant recommended I consider care clinic in Nottingham as they do more extensive tests on embryos which may be my issue. My experience and research seems to be that most ...

Anyone starting in September?

Hello Dusky, hope 2WW is going as quick as it can. I recall you have had previous FET and I just wanted to pick your brain, interestingly the nurse advised that the protocol I am on, I will not bleed in my 2ww. I was grateful for this information, because my past 3 failed cycles I always bled early, so at least my expectations won't be raised. I was wondering if you had any knowledge of this? I appreciate I won't be in my 2ww until 1 November , all being well.

Anybody starting in oct :-)

Hello there, I have recently started my FET on NHS, I just started Nasal sprays on 17 September and all being well my estimated transfer date is 1 November so I might be ahead of you all if you are doing fresh transfer but Im not sure. I have had 3 failed IVF and this is first time I have any frozen, interestingly it was from my NHS cycle that I had best numbers. I have 3 embryos remaining. All very nerve wrecking. I find fresh cycles are very stressful as its getting to each hurdle is an achiev...

FET- 3 Embryos- what should I do

Thanks I will ask all these questions today as I'm unsure how it all works out. I am in a financial position to do another fresh cycle but its the fresh cycle which is so draining and I have already had 3 failed cycles. its hard to know when to stop. That's a good point if they can then thaw the third on the morning. I'm really keen to get process started again. The consultant recommended thawing three as she thinks best next step would be to go to England to go through a fresh cycle and have an...

FET- 3 Embryos- what should I do

I have my FET first appointment today and hope to start treatment on day 21 which will be next week. At my review appointment following third failed IVF but for first time had 3 embryos left over to enable a FET, the Consultant recommended that my 3 embryos are thawed and we pick best 2 for transfer. It has occurred to me now that it might be best to thaw 2 and then have another one spare for another FET. I would welcome your views? I am minded to listen to the Consultant but I just want to maxi...

Nhs fet waiting list

Hello I was in your position in June after a failed ivf, I went private for my review to fastrack the process. I went for my review appointment early July, and got my letter to accept FET place by early August. My first appointment to start process is now on 10 September. I had expected a much longer wait. X

Mine arrived it was 9 days late, I hope that means it’s back to normal now. I have never postponed treatment but I think on nhs you can for 3 months but not sure. It might be different for FET.

Good news pup18! Thanks for the info on FET pup18 and Anniebell. Pup18 I had my third failed fresh cycle in June, this was my NHS place and for first time I had embryos to freeze, I got 3 five day to freeze. I paid privately for my review appointment and have already received my offer for NHS FET, so awaiting my appointment to get started. I expected a much longer wait for NHS FET so at least I have something to focus on. it is so hard to concentrate in work sometimes.

Anniebell or pup18 would you be able to give rough time line of FET, how long did you have to wait from when you accepted your nhs place for FET to commence? Are you given a choice to go drug free? Roughly how long does FET take from start to finish. Sorry lots of questions but would be helpful if anyone could answer any of these questions. Thanks x

I would recommend the app "Mindful IVF" - most of it is free but you can pay for an enhanced version- it helped calm me in my last cycle x

Carlie I am same as you. My period is 7 days late and I am always regular. I called to accept mine last Thursday but the lady didn't ask about my period. I am hoping by time my appointment comes to commence the FET my period will have come. I have 3 frozen embryos and my doctor recommended we thaw all 3 to see which survive. I am now thinking I should only thaw 2 and save one for a private go but probably best to listen to the Doctor.

What stage is everyone at now? And how's it going? Miss the chats on here x

Hi Cheryl, I’m not good I think it over for me. Sorry for tmi but had spotting last night and then blood this morning. I had this on my first failed ivf but not until day 10 after 3 day transfer. It’s becoming so hard to be positive. I think my next step is try and do more investigations, I heard Dublin clinic sims is really good for this. I hope your 2 weeks goes quickly Cheryl xxxx
