Hi Scottishgirl, Feeling a bit numb with it all now, just don't know what to think/feel. I'm devastated but trying to stay positive at the same time. Thank you for letting me know about your experience, that is really reassuring to know and very much appreciated. This bleed is completely different to when I misscarried, it's not too heavy, quite pink and no clots (sorry TMI) so I am trying my best to focus on the positives. I'm glad I did a test this morning as well as that has given me a bit of...

HI everyone, So it's 3 weeks tomorrow since FET and I got a BFP onThursday. I did another test this morning as I'm paranoid and had been getting cramps, it was still positive. I have now started bleeding. I've called the clinic and they have said to just hang tight it could be implantation but it could also be signs of things not going well. Has anyone else had something similar? I'm trying to stay positive but have got myself in a bit of a state. Thanks in advance for any replies

Hi, Scottishgirl, we did indeed get good news on thursday, we got our BFP we are absolutely over the moon but can't help but being on edge still after last time but the line on the test was far stronger this time so trying to stay positive. It's going to be another long 2 weeks till our scan. This might be a silly question but what is everyone who is on meds doing about the clock change? They told me before to take them at the same time every day so that hormone levels don't drop and rise too mu...

Doing not too bad, worked part time last week so that was a good distraction but it's so hard to not be paranoid and question every little feeling. I've been feeling a lot different than I did last time but not sure if that's because I was still recovering from the egg recovery or if it's because it's going well. Im going to try my best to wait till Thursday as don't want to get a false reading. That's good you are a one step closer but I understand it must be disappointing that you are having t...

Hi Scottishgirl, Transfer went well thank you. Our little embryo coped well with the defrost so we were very pleased we didn't have to use more than one. 10 days into our 2 week wait and it is dragging! Can't wait for test day! What stage have you reached?

We are only about 15-20 mins away and I have taken the day off work but my husband was going to go in to work till it was time to go but wasn't sure what kind of notice we will get. I am hoping they will tell us a rough time when they call in the morning.

Hi Hope everyone is doing well? We were at the clinic today for a scan to check lining. It was triple layered and over 8mm thick so they were happy to book us in for our frozen transfer so we are going in a week on Wednesday. Can anyone that has had a frozen transfer tell me how much notice you get before you have to go in? They said we will get a call first thing in the morning and then another call to tell us a time to go in but should have asked more about a rough time frame.

Hi Scottishgirl, Thats good your appointment has come through earlier than expected. Protocols vary but to give you a rough idea mine was as follows... Day 21 after last period I started on tablets for 9 days and these are to try and make it more precise as to when your period will start. So if you are past day 21 at your appointment you will need to wait till after your next one to start then but if you are not at day 21 yet you will be able to start them sooner. I then had a scan 4 days later ...

Nikita81 - so pleased your scan went well. Kums17 - I know some of the shops like home bargains do things that you could print out you own wording etc and then iron it on so you have complete freedom with what you put on but not sure if you want to go down that route or would rather someone else did that bit. Maybe try Not on the High Street or ebay or somewhere like that if you would rather something done by someone else.Turtletums sounds good (I just looked it up as hadn't heard of it) I think...

Kums17 - my husband and I have discussed it lots but still don't feel fully informed even though we have both looked into it lots. So many people I have spoken to about asprin seem to have taken it so we are definitely swaying towards taking it but unsure how long to take it for. I couldn't find anything on the HFEA website about it though. I hope your pregnancy is going well. Nikita81 - I hope your scan goes well tomorrow, that's good that they brought forward.

Quoted from "Bambi85" SK88, I have read up so much about baby aspirin 75mg and its benefits, the NHS (I believe) don't have the research to advice or prescribe on the benefits of aspirin, all the different consultants I have spoke to have said it wouldn't do any harm, all major top clinics use baby aspirin as part of their protocols (my sister being one of them and a baby girl first IVF try) and out of my 7 transfers the two times we used embryo glue we actually saw a baby with a heartbeat rath...

Nikita81- It really does give me hope that our next treatment will be a success after hearing stories like yours. Our fresh one was a 5AA but we have 4 that are frozen so hoping they will manage to use one of the 4AAs that we have frozen. I'm due to start Progynova in about 10 days so did you start the asprin at the same time as that? Also when did you ask about the embryo glue?should I call and ask about that now or wait till I call with my first day? Sorry so many questions. I hope the next 2 ...

Thank you for your kind messages, I am getting there emotionally now but the cramps are still quite painful. @bambi85 I am going to look into the embryo glue a bit more as it wasn't something I had really thought/heard about till your message so will need to do some research and speak with my husband but anything that could help is definitely worth considering. @ABCgirl we are keen for another attempt as soon as possible but wasn't sure if I should wait to have a period before we try again, am I...

Newbie looking for advice

Hi everyone, I've been reading this thread from afar for a while but been a bit nervous about posting anything. I'm new to forums but here goes.... I'm 29 my husband is 33 we have been TTC for almost 4 years. We have unexplained infertility and are on our first round of IVF. They managed to get 18 eggs at egg recovery and in the end we had a 5 day fresh transfer of a 5AA embryo. We also have 4 that they have frozen. So our 2WW ended on Sunday (the 8th) and we did the test from the hospital which...
