Just found out we are expecting twins :-D

Thank you so much for all your amazing messages. It really helps me talking to others and hearing your thoughts and advice. I had another scan today. All info is in my diary but both heartbeats are going strong. They look much bigger than last week. Mind you the pains I've been having I'm not surprised. My next scan is next Friday so hopefully they will continue growing strong. One heartbeat was still slower but they don't seem concerned. So. I'm 7 weeks today!! Wow. Xxxx

Just found out we are expecting twins :-D

Hi I'm posting this as we found out Friday that we are expecting twins It's been a long ivf journey and this is our first positive result. Lucky number 7 The passed few week have been a huge roller coaster as we went from a positive test, to ohss, hcg levels not doubling and a small bleed. Because things had gone a bit crazy we had to wait until last Friday to be scanned to see what had happened. We were told about possibilities of ectopic, possible empty sac or the most likely one had gone and ...

ICSI #2 EC tomorrow!

Hey Hun. It's definitely quality rather than quantity. That's a lovely number of eggs so dont feel down. It only takes 1 good one :-))my clinic look to get between 5 and 12 follies so I think 8 is perfect. I'll keep everything crossed for the icsi part but I'm sure you won't need it xx

ICSI #2 EC tomorrow!

I have everything crossed for you Hun. Hope tomorrow goes well and there are plenty to choose from at least with it being early you get the EC out of the way early. Id rather that than have to wait all day for it. Luckily mine was early too :-) I'll check in 2mo and see how it went. Come on eggs and swimmers - do ya stuff :-))). Lol I think icsi is definitely amazing. It's so interesting too. Unbelievable what they can do. Luckily for us :-) Xx

Hi Jem1986, I just thought I would wish you luck for tomorrow and EC. I hope you have some lovely quality eggs tomorrow. I'll keep everything crossed for you for the rest of your cycle I hope this is the one for you. There is a March cycle buddy chat forum and there are a few ladies there having EC tomorrow too. Clexane injections

I have a clexane question .... Again!! Sorry. When you inject it do you leave it in your belly until the safety clicks and then take it out? I have been injecting it and pushing it down until I think it's done. Then I pull the needle out and push the plunger a bit more. The safety then flicks out but a bit if the liquid comes out too I'm not sure if I am doing right and getting all the liquid? I'm a bit scared to click until the safety pops out whist the needle is still in me. Any help would be ...

Clexane injections

1st day of clexane........ Here is how it went ........ Ouch!!!! But that was mainly due to me I did it myself which is another achievement for me :-) however I did jab myself twice as I couldn't get it in. I then cried and told DH I'm not doing them. Lol. He offered and I told him no, I'm just not having them at all!! Finally I managed it on the 3rd go and it wasn't that bad. I write this and sound like a crazy lady. Clexane injections

Awwww thanks for all of the advice ladies, it has all been taken on board. Big bits of skin, go in slowly, tell myself it doesn't hurt (lol) and don't rub or scratch it afterwards I don't have to do them yet. I've been told it will be after my EC which at the moment is likely to be next Weds. So I'm guessing next Thurs is when I will start. I'll keep you all posted and let you know how it goes. Don't worry bumble bee it wasn't you. I looked at them yesterday and thought I don't like the look of ...

Anyone used progynova during a fresh long protocol cycle?

Hi I'm currently doing a full cycle. I've not had ec yet but am due to start taking them along with other tablets. It all gets a bit confusing but I think they are oestrogen too. I think it gives you extra of this but I can't remember why. Good luck x

Clexane injections

Hi there, I'm just going through my icsi cycle and this time will be using clexane injections after ec. I hear they are not very nice and I've not done them before. Can anyone give me any advice on these? Are they as bad as they sound? Do they go in the belly? And any tips? I've had gestone before, are they like that at all? Thanks, Pam x

IVF Wales, Cardiff

Hey Flares, Good luck with your cycle, I hope that all your dreams come true. Your definitely in good hands there. My nurse at CRMW has just gone back to IVF Wales, here name is Debbie, if you get her she is fab. I don't get entitled to any NHS funding so I could be wrong, but the last I heard you get 2 free goes if you live in Wales. Best to check that out though as I could be wrong. Take care and good luck x

Thanks Allyw, I think its because I did the early response test that I feel so rubbish, I definitely won't ever do that again. I'm praying for a miracle and that Friday will be the shock of my life. I don't have any symptoms at all though, and I know that not everyone gets symptoms but I did get some with my chemical last time, this time I feel like I just know . Trying to push that to the back of my mind when I can and am looking forward to getting the test over and done with on Friday. I just ...
