Still waiting for ARGC to contact us with test results - Has anyone else had to chase them?

Hello! Has anybody else out there had to chase the ARGC for test results? I'm due to start taking Humira but the ARGC still haven't contacted us with my TB & HEP results and instructions regarding what to do next. We had to chase them to get the results for my immune tests and eventually spoke to a doctor almost a month after they got the results back. We understand that they are busy and don't want appear ungrateful but obviously taking the Humira is going to delay starting our next round of IV...

Both a bit lost...

Hi, I agree about the practicality of going backwards and forwards into London. It takes us an hour on the train to Waterloo and then about 30 minutes tube and walking. It is a faff, especially as sometimes you only need a blood test which takes about 90 seconds and then you turn around and come home again! But we weighed up the odds - the Hampshire Clinic used to take us 10 minutes to get to and that was one of the reasons why we went there, it was quick and convenient and didn't really interfe...

Both a bit lost...

Hi, Completely understand how you are both feeling. My husband and I have been TTC for approx 4.5 years. We have had 2 rounds of IVF - the first was unsuccessful and the second worked but I miscarried shortly after our first ever BFP. I'm 39 and my husband is 34, I too feel as though I'm rapidly running out of time although my husband is a little less age obsessed! We also live near the Hampshire / Surrey border and did our first two rounds of IVF at The Hampshire Clinic in Basingstoke and The F...

Humira Advise Please!!!!!

Thanks Maria, that's actually a great help. We told the ARGC that we were going to go for it regardless and signed the forms there and then - I'm 40 this year and this is our third IVF cycle with over four years of TTC - I feel as though I'm running out of time and options and so we decided to just go for it. But I'm a worrier and need reassurances! Having said that, the ARGC have been great so far and I trust them so I think we'll stick with it. Thanks again

Humira Advise Please!!!!!

Hi, I'm about to start taking Humira and have been reading the info given to me by the ARGC and I'm now having a bit of a panic moment. Has anyone taken Humira? What were your experiences? Did you have any side effects? Did it work? Did you have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby? Could really do with some reassurances from somebody who has been through it, starting to freak me out a bit!! Thank you x x x x

Hi, I'm new to FZ!

Hi Everyone, My husband came across FZ whilst trying to find some information regarding cytokines ratio and we both thought it would be a great idea to join I'm 39 and my DH is 34. We have been trying to start a family for almost 4 years. We have had two rounds of IVF - the first was unsuccessful and the second worked but we later miscarried. We had a year of NHS fertility investigations only to be told that i was too old for us to have IVF on the NHS - I was 35 at the time. We then went to a pr...
