Any one else on here having treatment at Nuffield?

Hi Tracy, Sorry to hear about your problems at the Nuffield. Me and DH have had our treatment there (as was recommended to us) and our first round of ICSI resulted in our son and we could not have been happier, the clinic was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble, I especially like the evening nurses as they are allot more personable and caring. However...... we went back last year for our second round of ICSI and I didnt get the same feeling unfortunately, the organisation was pretty terri...

Another follow-up?

Hi Rianon, Ive managed to sort out the invoices with the clinic but am still unsure on what to do about going back. Dh has saod if we want to go then whats another hundred poubd when we have paid so much already and I would like to know what he has to say but I dont want to waste money on an appointment where we just recap over what has happened as we won't be having another try for a while, if ever so dont want it to feel a waste of time and money. I dont know

Another follow-up?

hi guys, Sorry Jenny but what is EPU? Rianon, We had a follow up constultation about 3 weeks after our failed cycle and that was part of the treatment so wasnt paid for so i'm assuming that we will be charged for another appointment. I have since been sent 2 seperate invoices for the last appointment we had with him that total a cost of £240 for a 10 min appointment so am in discussions with the clinic to try and rectify this for before broaching the subject of another appointment - Nightmare!

Another follow-up?

Wanted your opinion really..... After all the treatment ive had regarding possible ectopic/miscarraige, my private consultant came to see in my nhs hospital and said he will call me next week to discuss the lab results of what they took out then asked me to book an appointment with him at his private clinic in 3 weeks to see him. I just answered 'yes' and let my dh know but on talking to a friend about it, she queried why I need to go and see him at his private surgery as surely he will be charg...

Bleeding since BFN in November

Hi guys, finally I can report that I have had surgery. I was called down just after my dh left around 8pm and was back to the ward by about 10.45pm. I was told today that it had gone ok and that it was a miscarriage, no ectopic, my consultant came round to me this morning and said he will let me know the test results as soon as he hears and to book an appointment with him in about 3 weeks to discuss everything. Feeling in quite a bit of pain and have only been described co-codamol which isn't re...

Bleeding since BFN in November

Hi guys, well im writing this from my hospital bed. I saw my consultant this morning and he asked if I was still bleeding and as soon as I said yes, he admitted me for a laporscopy (not sure if ive spelt it right). Have been waiting since to go down but apparently my blood is showing antibodies so they had to postpone me so they could make sure they have the correct blood for me incase I need it. Im so scared and keep getting very emotional as I dont want anything to happen to me. I love my son ...

Bleeding since BFN in November

Thanks Bumblebee, i just want it all over Will see how i go tomorrow, I'll report back. Pip, how horrible for you. This journey is just so hurtful sometimes fingers crossed you get to keep a BFP soon xx I suppose the only positive thing I can take from it at the moment is that I got a BFN so the ectopic was a complete shock but i imagine not as hurtful as having a BFP taken away from you xxx Thanks x Will let you all know how I get on xx

Bleeding since BFN in November

Hi All, Well i havent been on here for a while as we assumed back in early November that our dreams of having a little friend for our DS was over and done with, and although that hasnt changed, what has happened since has just been awful I started bleeding 1 week into our 2ww but still carried out the test as required by the clinic and reported back the BFN that we knew we would and did get . Afterwards, we had a follow up appointment with our consultant and at that time, 3 weeks afterwards, I h...

Milk

Hi all, Was just wondering how long you give LO milk for? My DS has milk before bed (only a little) and i just wondered whether im just giving it to him out of habit or whether he actually needs it? He is a very big boy for his age so doesnt need it weight wise and sometimes asks for juice instead so its not really a comfort thing either so wonder whether or not to just stop it alltogether?

Suggestions for improving low sperm count

Hi all, Me and DH have recently gone through our 2nd round of ICSI to try for a sibling for our little boy (born 2011 from 1st ICSI) but unfortunately resulted in a DH was diagnosed with varicocele back in 2010 which kicked off everything with our fertility issues hence needing ICSI as very low sperm count as well as problems with the form of the sperm etc. I know this is a problem that obviously affects others and I was wondering whether there is anything that you lovely people would recommend ...
