2nd treatment of zoladex

hey ladies, I was given 3 months of zoladex last year and was told that was the longest i could have it for. i have had a 2nd opinion after having a mirena coil fitted and being on the pill for 3 months continuously but this has been unsucessful and im still bleeding. My new hospital have said i need to have 9 months of zoladex then they will have a look via lap. its a better outcome than the last dr who told us we have 4 months to have a baby or they will remove my womb.Im just a bit confused a...

hey Poppy, Im going into the hospital tomorrow to ask for some answers. i was hoping the coil was going to be a winner for me but unfortunatley that hasnt been the case. I have had to stop taking the pain killers because they were making me ill so im just having to battle through it. i went to the dr on thursday she wasnt qulified to talk to me about it. so gave me antibiotics incase it was infection but if anything its getting worse. im moving house in 10 days stress wont be helping xx

Well....

hey every one, I went down to see my mum this week as its half term and i went to the hospital where i used to see the gyny consultant, i explained my situation with my new hospital and told them that they refuse to do any major treatment until they have seen my old notes. well as it turns out my old consultant had sent my old notes off back at the start of September. so i am now boiling because the coil is causing nothing but problems...so im debtating weather to go in to the hospital and get s...

some advice

hey every one, im going back to see my consultant this week after 3 months of the zoladex injection, the only thing i found the injection only helped with was the bleeding. I have been still getting a lot of pain, has any one else experienced this whilst on the zoladex?? i have refused to go back to hospital when the pain is so bad because they dont do anything they just pump me full of pain killers which i can do at home in my own bed, im really starting to lose faith in the hospital because i ...

Endometrial cysts....anyone have any experience?

I know this is a bit late in replying. I had been diagnosed with endo for 5 years when my periods completely stopped they told me to just keep doing pregnancy tests after being told the children would never happen for me, one day whilst i was at work i collapsed and got rushed to hospital they scanned me and found a small endometrioma they just ignored it and sent me off. few weeks later i went back to the dr because the pain was getting worse, he sent me back to hospital they did yet another pr...

A little advice...

Hey Becky, The girls are right i have always been told the only true way to find out if you have endo is through a lap. I've had it since i was 15 and im only 23 with severe endo but i was the same as you back when i was first diagnosed with it i had a scan because i kept getting a very swollen tummy and thats when they found i had multiple cyst and my ovary was also in hiding. the treatment they usually try for the first step in going on a pill or some sort of contraception to stop your periods...

they were going to put me in the pill, they are only guessing that its my endo they dont actually have proof of it. i refused the pill because it didnt work the last 4 times i was on it. lol. i was a bit cheeky and wrote to my old consultant as i got on really well with him and he never should we say fobed me off. and he gave me some information im going to ask my new one about. im going to feel sorry for the new consultant because she is going to get the back end of my suffering. what does that...

zoladex

well i went for my 2nd zoladex injection yesterday, i met with a new gp who done it for me and we had a good chat. i explained that i had been in and out of hospital in July and told him that the hospital were useless they were just putting me a room for a couple days then would just come and ask if i was ready to go home. i had to ask my husband to bring my own painkillers in because non of the doctors had written me any up, even though i was there due to extreme pain and heavy bleeding. I expl...
