Can you ovulate from both ovarys on Clomid?

Just wondering if its possible (which I am sure it is) so then I am wondering how probable it is?

... also, I have decided to try something different this time around, Im going to excercise like all the books say we are supposed to! Radical for me! Dont get me wrong I have a healthy lifestyle and Ive always tried to kid myself that my long dog walks are enough, but as Im not trying to reserve any energy for egg stimulation this time round, I am going all out and getting up at 6 am each morning and jogging. Fingers crossed. X

Thanks UKP and Nadine, the witch has indeed arrived and I will start the down reg injections today. Really chuffed to be doing something positive again. Trying to tame my enthusiasm and positivity just until I know the egg has safely defrosted, but by gosh its hard. EE - how did it go?

confused and worried about short protocol

On my last consultation to plan my next IVF my consultant changed me from long to short which I also was confused about. I had a preconceived idea that you should only be on the short protocol if you are older or not responding well, which so far has not been my problem. The consultant told me that the short protocol is much better for all women but most clinics use the long protocol purely based on the fact that they dont want to open the clinic at the weekends! Which I thought was very interes...

Hi guys, Well after a monster 7 weeks since my last AF, she has finally showed her face again (I was begining to think the stress of my last BFN had caused my AFs to stop). So at least 2 weeks later than expected I start my first ever medicated frozen egg transfer as soon a full day 1 arrives. I hope its tomorow. Im on Burerelin then eostrogen tablets and with prednisalone and clexane thrown in for good measure this time as well. I only have one lonely blastocyst in the freezer, so all my energy...

Something really strange happened this morning

Have you done a pregnancy test? My friend started with this very very early on in the pregnancy of her second child.

Am I crazy for suspecting endo?

Sorry,I cant add anything useful, but I spot for about three days before AF then it comes very very heavily but only for 2- 3 days and I am never regular. However there are a few other things that seem a bit odd and I definately think it would be reasonable to visit the doctor about this. The way you wrote it out in this post would be ideal, perhaps you could say you would like them to read your syptoms and hand it to them so that way you wouldnt miss anything or be interupted. Good luck, keep us...

My AMH increased!!! Gosh, I didnt expect that.

I will do Nic, in fact I wont be able to contain myself. Maria... I dont know. I had no idea it was even possible to go up. I did really go a bit OTT with the healthy eating, I was obsessed, I followed the 'The Fertility Diet' (very imaginatively named - its on Amazon) but then after the negative pregancy test I thought sod it! Ive kept to the basic principles of the diet but I havent absolutely cut out the saturated fat which it insists on. Maybe if I have it taken again during this cycle it mi...

My AMH increased!!! Gosh, I didnt expect that.

I recieved my IVF notes from my last clinic today as I have my first appointment at my new clinic tomorrow. Ive poured over the notes and recieved a few surprises (thankfully good ones!) In June 2010 when I first approached starting fertility treatment my AMH was 23.69, which was bang in the middle of 'satisfactory fertility levels', after looking through my notes my AMH was tested again in July 2010 and it was 27.41 which is not far off the lower end of optimum fertility!! This has surprised me...

Moving clinics - should we repeat ultrasound scan and semen test???

Yes, Imnew to the Lister as well and they were trying to get me to use my old scans, but we worked out mine were 4 months and therefore they suggested I should have them done again. If yours are older than 3 months and you would feel more comfortable having new scans then just request them. If you are watching the pennies however and they seem to be happy with your older scans then keep a low profile!!! So what do you feel more comfortable with?

prostap injection

Yes they will be. I am a nurse and I frequently administer Prostap (its used to prevent exasperation of prostate cancer in men). Its a very thick injecting solution which is why the needle is a bit bigger that you might have expected. Its a one off injection and your stimmulating drugs will have teeny weeny needles and will be much more user friendly. X

Just had a huge bust up with my clinic! Feel so upset

No I dont feel that you are over reacting, you are obviously unwell and if you are not over stimmulating then maybe they could offer some explaination as to what the problem actually is? I do have one query.... are you privately funded or are you NHS? If it is NHS there are official complaints proceedures that you can follow which are there to protect you through your treatment/complaint, if it is private then its totally totally not value for money so consider changing clinics if you ever go th...

The Lister Clinic - Chelsea, London

Hi Lister ladies, I was just wondering what type of down regulation to expect at the Lister. I had Buserelin once daily injections at my first clinic which suited me quite well, Ive heard about those sniffy things (might be a pain during the working day), and Id HATE to have a one off Prostrap injection. So which ones did you have girls?
