** IUI CHITTER CHATTER SEPT/OCT 2009**

Littlefit : That's great news !! Glad to hear your appointment went so well and that you're feeling so upbeat about everything. Really keeping my fingers crossed for your AF to arrive on time I'm surprised they say that CD6 is too late for the first scan. I had mine on CD10 for my first insemination and CD8 for the second. Otherwise, sounds like we're following almost exactly the same procedure, I had puregon (50 IU) and ovitrelle as well. I'm really excited for you

Hello everyone, We're back from our amazing trip to the US, and are starting to get used to being at home. I'm a bit out of kilter with sleeping, didn't get to sleep till 6 this morning , but i'm sure that will sort itself out fairly quickly. I've only had a very quick scan over the last page or two, so am pretty out of touch with where everyone's at concerning tx (I was back at work today). Loopy : I was so sorry to hear about your BFN. I hope you and DH are taking good care of each other. Have...

Hi Ladies, I apologize in advance for this very short and rather impersonal post, we've just got back from a weekend away at a wedding, and are leaving tomorrow for our big California trip I just wanted to pop in to give a big hug to all my FZ friends and to wish the best of luck to the girls who are currently cycling and loads of PMA to everyone. I'll be back in September (when we'll be starting our next IUI), hopefully there'll be some good news in the post before then.

Good morning everyone, I’m afraid it’s another BFN for us this time. AF arrived yesterday (she’d already been making her presence felt through various aches and pains since last week). It wasn’t too hard to take this time, partly because I knew AF was coming so had a bit of a cry about it last week, but also because I am very busy (sanding and revarnishing window and shutters with DP) and have a lot to look forward to in the next month. We’re going to a wedding in the South of France this weeken...

Cindy : So sorry this month was a disappointment for you . Your next go is in September, is that right ? Tosborne : Sorry AF is messing with you. Don't you just hate it when she plays mind games ? Hoping she turns up soon so you can get started properly. Little : Thanks for the PMA and your nice words about DP's godmother's husband. Sounds like those ovulation tests are quite tricky to use. Is this the first time you've used them ? I was thinking about getting some to take on holiday with us in ...

Hi everyone, Hope everyone is happy and well. DP and I went to Paris on Wednesday for his godmother's husband's funeral (who died of lung cancer within a month of diagnosis - which kind of puts things in perspective). We decided to stay for a night to enjoy Paris and came back yesterday afternoon. We had a lovely time, but I came back with aching feet !! Today I've been trying (and failing) to motivate myself to finish some stuff that I want to get finished for work in September. I know that I'l...

Looney, Looks like we just crossed posts. Thanks so much for the PMA. I think you've got the right attitude, I don't think believing or not makes any difference to the outcome and it might avoid a lot of pointless stress ! for the 2ww.

Hello everyone, I had my IUI this morning. DP went in at 7.30 then me at 9.30 (36 hours after trigger, just like last time). The doctor who did the insemination also said something about a higher risk of twins with two mature follies. I feel they're putting extra pressure on me. I mean if they're talking about twins, and I get a BFN in the end, doesn't that mean there's something seriously wrong, maybe with my eggs ? I'd been hoping to go back to the gym quite quickly to keep my mind off the 2ww...

Good morning ladies, I hope everyone's weekend has got off to a good start ! Looney : I asked the doctor this morning and she confirmed that usually follicles have to be over 16mm to be mature. She also said it's complicated, but isn't everything ? Lolly : Welcome ! That sounds about right to me, but I'm not an expert ! Good luck for Monday ! Slyfoxy : Glad everything went well for you. Good luck on the 2 week wait. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you !! That's amazing news about Bettyboop ! ...

Hi again, Good luck slyfoxy ! Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Little and Cindy : Thanks so much for your support and nice words. It really made me feel good this afternoon ! The hospital phoned a couple of hours ago to confirm that I need to go back for a scan and blood test on Saturday. The insemination will probably be on Monday, so trigger Saturday night presumably. I'm hoping there'll be two follies of the right size when I take trigger, that must give me a better chance of a BFP ! Does ...

Hi everyone, I'm not getting on here much at the moment. I've been feeling a bit down recently and quite passive about things. The fact that I sprained my ankle a few days after my BFN in June sort of knocked the wind out of my sails (I'd just bought a summer pass for the gym - nice waste of money !). Anyway, I'm now in the middle of cycle two. I had my first scan on Monday (CD8) when I had two follies of 10 each (one on each side). I went back this morning, and now I've got one at 15, one at 13...

Hello ladies, It's been a long time since I've been in, and first I wanted to say thanks again for all the support and good vibes you sent me during our first cycle Loopy : Your trip sounded amazing !! What a group of adventurers ! I hope you really enjoyed your anniversary. We're thinking of getting married really soon if our tx don't bring us any good news over the next few months, and I'm really starting to find the idea positive. I'm so sorry yout tx didn't work out last cycle. Are you plann...

** IUI CHITTER CHATTER MAY/JUNE 2009**

Hello everyone, I'm just popping in to say that I'm going to take a bit of a break from the forum. We'll be starting our next cycle of IUI when AF arrives in July (around the 11th probably), and until then I want to concentrate on other things (some work on the house, making the most of my gym subscription, getting some stuff done at work that's been piling up and getting me down . . . . ). I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to you all for your support, and to let you know that I'll still be t...

Hi everyone, Just a quick update to let you know that AF arrived today. Had a bit of a cry about it at first, but am feeling much better now. We're going to have a month off, which I'm going to use to get in better shape, and then we'll have another try in July. Hope everyone is doing well to all my FZ friends !

Good morning everyone, Hope everyone is feeling healthy and sane. I've just spent the morning marking a HUGE pile of exam papers, which doesn't do much for the mental health !! Other than that, things are good here, had a bit of a down period at the beginning of the week when I started getting pre-AF pains (I get a vague aching feeling in the backs of my thighs, just above the knee up to 6 or 7 days before AF) and decided my IUI hadn't worked. I know it's too early too tell, but I'm still not ex...

Hello Ladies, I hope everyone is well. Monday is now almost over and the week can only get better from here I'm doing ok, still counting the days till the test on Monday, but at the same time not expecting much of the result. If it's a BFN I'm going to take my gym's special summer offer and do loads of exercise over the next month to look better in my new bikini !! I occasionally have the impression that I'm feeling slightly nauseous, but I think it's due either to the progesterone supplements o...

Evening ladies, I'm finding it quite difficult to find the time to read everyone's posts properly and to respond as I'd like. I've decided not to update my diary, because I really don't have time to do both, and I'd much rather be here with you !! Champagne, that's great that the clinic can do your IUI on Saturday if need be. How are you getting on with the drugs ? Good luck with your scan (tomorrow ?) Esha, it's great to hear your little one is growing quick. Bet you can't wait to meet him/her....

Kayjay : congrats on being PUPO. Looks like we'll be testing around the same time ! Little : thanks so much for the PMA and the smiles and hugs. How are you these days ? Loopy : best of luck for the next couple of days. How great would it be if you got your BFP ? If not, at ...
