ARGC and antidepressants

Hello I am currently on antidepressants (75mg amitryptaline) for my insomnia (they are sedating and non-addictive and so I preferred them to sleeping pills). I am due to have an initial consultation at ARGC early next year and hope to start a monotiring cycle straight away. Does anyone know what ARGC's attitude is to doing cycles whilst on antidepressants? I will come off them if it means not delaying anything - but would rather not as am sleeping rather well! Any insights or experiences would b...

Immune results back - please help!!

Hi everyone I’ve just got my immune results back and 2 are outside the normal range: CD3: 87.7 (should be under 85) CD19+CD5: 12 (should be under 10) I have no idea what any of this means and have an initial appointment to discuss in 2 months time.In the meantime, does anyone have any pearls of wisdom? The results don’t seem very far out the normal range – do you think they are significant? Will I likely be prescribed anything or do you think they will just leave it as they are close to borderli...

Clomid for poor ovulaiton / luteal phase defect

Hi guys I count day 1 as the day after ovulation - as its X number of DPO (days post ovulation) - but I could be wrong! In my last round of tamoxifen my luteal phase was only 8 days - and it really messed my cycle up - my BBT was high for 7 weeks and I spotted throughouut my cycle which hadn't happened before... Luteal phase without drugs was 7 days so was not really a success story! IVF round 3 next for me - let me know how you get on ladies xx ps- awaiting immune results - will let u knw if th...

BBT has gone beserk - please help!

Hi guys Right, my BBT has gone completely round the bend and I don't know what to do. I've been charting for a couple of years. My pre-O temps are usually 36.3-36.4. My post-O temps are usually 36.7-37.0. Last month about (6 weeks + ago) I took tamoxifen days 3-7. On day 7 my BBT went up to 36.9 and it has remained high ever since. I am definely not pg (had period, scans and blood tests). It has been between 36.8-37.0 for weeks now. I don't have any cysts or weird growths (had a 3D contrast scan)...

Clomid for poor ovulaiton / luteal phase defect

Hi Runningmum.. I had tamoxifen (clomid didn't agree with me) which works in the same way as clomid. I had it for 3 months and my luteal phases were: month 1 - 12 days month 2 - 7 days month 3 (double dose) - 8/9 days So it hasn't really worked for me unfortunately ... I am looking into immune issues now. Even though no miscarriages, it can cause luteal phase deficiency as raised NK cells can attack progesterone. Bit of a long shot but am desperate!! X

Ovulation Induction Injectibles - chat thread

yeah never ideal having to eliminate an entire food group, but if it works you can't knock it! Glad you've found a reason for it all.. The Chicagos are costing about £800 at ARGC .. not sure if they will find anything but there is a link with immune issues and luteal phase defect, embryo arrest, irregular and anovulatory cycles and a few other things that ring true .. so though t would give it a whirl X
