Progesterone pesseries

Hi pip This is normal that not all the pessaries is absorbed, so please don't worry. On transfer day you don't do your morning one until after transfer but I am sure your clinic will tell you this before you have the transfer. If your worried call your clinic but that's how be always done it. Good luck when is transfer? Xx

Struggling today

Hi Jenny, Didn't want to read and run, I feel you pain, I have a beautiful DD albeit grown up now but me and DH have been trying for 5 years and can't seem to have one together, it is so cruel to get that much awaited BFP then have it took away at your 12 week scan my heart goes out to you until you go through this process no one else understands, I had a girl last year shout at me drunk at a Xmas do saying I should be happy I have a child and she doesn't think I should be going through IVF to h...

Endometrial scratch

Hi Kk I had it on my last cycle and it didn't work but that's not to say it won't, I know a few ladies on here who have had 6 failed cycles and them had the scratch and wham have got there BFP. Even tho mine failed the first cycle I had it, I am currently on my 2 WW and have had it done again this time. I would say try anything that increases your chances and there is evidence to support that it does, so I say go for it. As Jenny says, it's quick and not really painful obviously you feel a scrat...

Hi tab, I have only just seen this post, congratulations on your EC, your AMH is exactly the same as mine, and both my cycles were the same, first time I had 6 eggs and the second 9 but lost one so we had 8, so I think that's really good good luck for the phone call tomorrow, I hope you get a great fertilisation rate xx

Standard Dose for Progynova ??

Forgot to ask when you increase your dose of HRT are you taking one in the morning and one at night or both together? My clinic never said, and I increased yesterday but took them both together? Does it really matter? Thanks C xxx

Standard Dose for Progynova ??

Hi CT, I'm like you the first 5 days I'm on 2 mg then day 5 increases to 4mg for another 5 days then increase to 6mg for another 10 days so I am on them so days in total - it is strange how we all differ, I want to know why we need to take more if it works with less drugs... I am sure they wouldn't risk your cycle, I think it's more the fact other need to take more drugs so the clinics have longer to fit in with there clinics - which is frustrating as were on the drugs longer. Bummer - are you g...

Newbie St Mary's

Hi hunny, It all depends what drugs and protocol your on, I have always done long protocol and have been on supercur buserelin drugs to down regulate the menstural cycle (this turns everything off) then I was on Gonal F to stimulate the ovarys and grown some nice and healthy follicles, you are normally on the drugs for 6 to 8 weeks. It will be here in no time and all you time will be filled with jabbing and mixed emotions but you will be fine, it feels a long road a head but once you start it fl...

Newbie St Mary's

You've done well, as I had to wait until the third request on all three cycles, if you do end up with OHSS I think they may freeze all embryos while your body calms down before transferring, the good news with ST Mary's is if you are lucky to have embroys frozen those are free cycles too. Xxx

Newbie St Mary's

Thanks Saffy This is our last attempt at ST Mary's so were hoping it will work Where abouts are you I know how many cycles you get is on a postcode lottery but one go seems pretty unfair, the good news for you is age is on your side so for you both. If it doesn't work it may be worth appealing to see if you can get another go as one does seem unfair but I'm sure it won't come to that. It is a daunting time but once you get your head around injecting it will all fall into place and you will be fi...

Working during ivf

Oh hunny, don't mention treatment, just say your going through a gyne issue it's woman's problems so I am going to need time off probably two weeks and I will have a sick note, I just wanted to let you know in advance. If he presses say I'd rather not talk about it, or say I'm having fibroids removed he won't have a clue he's a man lol that way you don't have to worry about people talk about you (I do the same) you will feel in control when talking to him and once it's done you will feel so much...

Working during ivf

Hi ash, I am in exactly the same position as you, I have had a word with my higher boss this week, although not really supportive has said if I am entitled to things I can have it. Do you work for a large firm? I ask because most large firms now have an IVF policy in place, ours is after transfer if you take sick it is taken as pregnancy related and therefore even tho it's recorded as sick your not penalised for it. That said when you never take time off your head and your heart still have a mas...
