Separation Anxiety at 19 Months

Hi Gracie, I haven't yet experienced this with my LO. He does get clingy when tired or poorly, or a change in routine (like moving nursery rooms). I am sure this is just a phase that will pass quickly. Sorry I can't offer any actual advice. I am sure someone on the forum will be able too. xx

Crying whilst getting PJs on before bedtime

Thank you so much for your replies. There are a few suggestions we can try. Will give them a go tomorrow as we've just done PJs and had quite a time. DH is giving him milk now so all quiet. Thanks again xx

Crying whilst getting PJs on before bedtime

Hiya, I wonder if anyone else has experienced anything similar to what my little boy is going through. He is a gorgeous 10 month old, very content, sleeps and eats well. He loves his bath time but after bath when we get him dressed for bed he whines and cries - not real tears. The routine is bath, PJs, milk then bed. Once he has his milk he is fine and then goes to sleep. It's just the bit after bath whilst dressing that he makes so much unhappy noise. Has anyone else experienced this sort of th...

9 month old - what's happening?

Hiya, Our little boy is just over 9 months and has been sleeping through the night for 90% of the time since he was 11 weeks old. We've had a few issues with weight loss (restricted tongue, biopsy on my boob) but these have now been resolved since we moved from breastfeeding to formula at 5 months. Over the last 6 nights he has started waking at all sorts of times - at least twice a night and it has taken all sorts to get him back to sleep. He was able to get himself back to sleep if he woke pre...

BMI The Chaucer Hospital, Canterbury

Hi Louah, I also had treatment at the Chaucer in July 2009. I was NHS and I now have a lovely little boy, born April this year. We had IVF, 2 eggs put back (I was 36 at the time). We had our consultant apt in April 09, our chat & plan in May 09 and started treatment in July 09. We could have started in June but I had a few things to sort out. Good luck with everything. Julie x

Pos opk today 2ww 2mo mri scan results fibroid in wall of uterus

Hi Paul, I was searching for more info on fibroids and pregnancy and came across your post. I was really glad I found it as it has given me peace of mind about my situation. I was told 18 months ago during an ultrasound that I had a 15mm intramural fibroid. At each stage of my IVF, 7 week scan and 12 week scan the fibroid was noted but when I asked if it will cause any problems I was advised no. I am now 17 weeks and have received an outpatients appointment for 23rd Dec to see my consultant. It ...

I'm new to site & IVF

Hi Nikki, We've told close friends and family. In some ways it helps, but in others its more pressure. I am going to have to tell my boss as I won't be able to sort time off easily. I am hoping by telling my boss (but not others at work) that it will be less stressful as I won't have to keep making excuses. I have a friend who had 2 successful IVFs and she found it was better for her that her boss knew. I think it really depends on the type of work and how you deal with things. I haven't had an ...

I'm new to site & IVF

Hi Nikki, Thanks for your note. I was hoping to get in contact with someone at the same stage as me - some moral support & someone to chat too. Thanks for getting in touch. Yes, I will drop you a line after the chat & plan. We are just working our way through the various consent forms that need to be filled in. Had to repeat a day 3 blood test this week as my previous one was a year old, so now nothing to do but wait until the chat & plan. Am very nervous when I think about whether treatment wil...

I'm new to site & IVF

Hello, I've just been reading the threads for the Chaucer and they have filled me with confidence. I was referred to the Chaucer in Oct 08. After a bit of chasing and waiting for the NHS licence to be renewed I had my 1st apt at the Chaucer on 1st May. The consultant was lovely - Ms Geyoushi. She explained everything. (She said she couldn't confirm the 2 NHS funded cycles yet as she said it hadn't been agreed...) I've got my chat & plan with the nurse on 26th May (got to repeat a blood test firs...
