Invicta Polish clinic

Hi I've had 3 failed attempts plus an abandoned cycle (due to clinic error!) I feel we need to try other or more in depth methods but pricing it at gcrm or sims (2 clinics which have good reports and higher success rates than those we've tried) ive cme across Invicta, success rates around 48%. Has anyone had treatment in Poland? Thanks xx

Belfast clinics treatment feedback and chat

It's hard isn't it sorry About your BFN pippi & mrs mck. can. Ask would you be going with GCRM again over RVH? I'm down for RVH but hubbi was saying GCRM until we priced it (ourselves via price list inc bloods and sir which threw another 2000 odd ) def not keen on origins unless big changes 3failed cycles there and no options only to keep throwing them money

Omg just seen that pinky had said about gcrm coming to Belfast, great I thought until I priced them, RANT ALERT! my treatment would be the guts of 8k!! Ffs fed up with these 'caring' clinics taking advantage of us! I would pay without a care if a baby was guaranteed but after failed cycles its these clinics that are taking the piss!

LIFE IN THE LAB - FOR ALL OF YOUR SPERM QUESTIONS

Hi Raven..my DH has azoospermia as he is a carrier of a cystic fibrosis gene mutation, they should do a blood test to advise your DH and also one on you if he is a carrier. Azoospermia in this instance is not reversible but we have treatment with ICSI. There may be other reasons that your DH has azoospermia and am sure someone will be along shortly to give you a more in depth answer. It's shocking to hear diagnosis isn't it but at least there's hope through treatment xx

LIFE IN THE LAB - FOR ALL OF YOUR SPERM QUESTIONS

Hi SS wondering if you can offer some advice? DH azoospermia as CF gene carrier, me ok both 33, 3 failed ICSI, advised good embryos with little frag, 2 back each time, but BFN. Last was 2blastos 2bb,3bb Clinic advised most likely down to genetic potential of embryos. Is there anything we can do to increase the genetic potential chance? Thanks in advance

Belfast clinics treatment feedback and chat

Hi lillyanna.. I've had 3 cycles at origins. Our first one I found them good (I was new to it all!) after my free NHS go and another bfn I went back to origins and a mistake was made in my drugs resulting in overstimulated ovaries and abandoned cycle (shortly after they hit the news for other reasons) they gave us a free go which also was a bfn ... That was a year ago and whilst we have sperm on ice I am reluctant to go back. I feel for a private clinic they do not offer enough.. I am currently ...

IMSI - is it worth taking a closer look?

Yeah such a great idea and with my current research the chances of BFP are increased greatly they have it in SIMS clinic in Ireland Holly but they are crazy expensive. Wish we cold be guaranteed BFP Zahra how did you find it..was there any noticeable improvements, would u recommend?

IMSI - is it worth taking a closer look?

Thanks ladies.. strange that I haven't heard of it before you would imagine a greater chance if they are seeing any problems close up. A bit more expensive and no clinic in N ireland does it which is also strange if it is that good??

Unsatisfactory Clinic Practice?

I have just received the most appalling treatment from a N Ireland clinic after I uncovered a mistake they had made then they 'forgot' to follow their complaints procedure and investigate the error. Has anyone else encountered bad practice in N Ireland?

Hyperstimulation - Mistake by Consultant

Briefly discussed this on OOs thread (thanks for listening OOs!), I'm supposed to be on 2ww right now but due to mistake in Clinic we had to decide to abandon our treatment -Hyperstimulated, Coasting 5 days bloods ok for EC but Clinic closed on day needed, Bloods crashed = no guarantee but approx 4-5 eggs quality questionable. We were not aware of mistake at time of decision, in fact the mistake only came to light when I looked into my previous (2) cycles treatment schedules. On review appt we q...

Gonal F v Menopur

Thanks Maria, I'm just a bit miffed with consultant because he chose to put me on 225 and my ovaries went into overdrive. Why did he not stick to a lower dose like I was on before. I am so cross that even though I was on Menopur (low dose good response try 1= 10 eggs) and Gonal F decreasing dose (try 2 - 15 eggs) that this guy thought that it would be great to stick me on 225 gonal f the whole way through to result in day 13 bloods to be 18000 and a cluster of little follies to appear between da...

Gonal F v Menopur

Can anyone give me their opinion on this - Paul (Entwhistle) advice would be much appreciated also If treatment 1 was Menopur at 225 with good normal response and 10 eggs treatment 2 was Gonal F at various (Day 1) 225 (Day 2) 225 (Day 3-6) 187.5 (Day 7&8) 150 (Day 9& 10) 112.50 with good normal response and 15 eggs what would treatment 3 be if Gonal F? eg would it be sensible to put me on Gonal F 225 all the way through for 8 days?

Hi Gronarmagh, just a quick question on your horrible hyperstim. What were your symptoms its just that I'm a hyper risk at min 10 follies one side and 14 the other no symptoms just bloated bloods were high the last 2 days but thankfully have dropped to 22000 today (down 3000) so scared that cycle will be cancelled or worse that eggs will be no good - any advice from any of you lovelies would be appreciated Thanks
