Hi everyone Sorry for not replying sooner. Good to see lots of newbies using the forum. I am now 25 weeks pregnant, its going past so quickly. Everything well with baby so couldn't be happier. Good luck to everyone in middle of treatment. I know its such a difficult frustrating process but just keep thinking positive. Haven't looked back at all posts to give everyone personal messages but just want to say congrats Mamme, try not to stress and worry, I am excited for you. Can't wait to see if its...

Hi sorry forgot to leave a message for Maame- good luck with your follow up appointment. This journey is very scary but you just have to take one day at a time, my journey started in 2011, so took a while for me to get my wish. I am now 10&1/2 weeks pregnant and still so scared, any twinge or niggle in my stomach I worry. Guess its natural after everything I have been through. Please don't give up, stay strong. Congrats Catkins, take care xxxx

Hi everyone Sorry I haven't written on here in ages. I have still been following you all on your journeys. After a long 3 years of IVF and my last try, I am so pleased to tell you all I got a BFP on 5th September!!!! I couldn't face writing anything on here as I was so scared at first and then saw what happened to Maame. I am now 8 &1/2 weeks pregnant with one baby. I had a scan on Tuesday at clinic to confirm everything was ok and how many we're in there. I totally had convinced myself it hadn'...

Hi everyone, must be hard for you all travelling so far your treatment. Aberdeen is very expensive for everything!!! Good luck finding suitable accomodation for your treatment. Everything gets booked up so quickly. You all sound very prepared and ready to start. Hope it all goes well for you. My test day is tomorrow, haven't tested throughout the 2 weeks. I am feeling scared. I am convinced it hasn't worked, I think my brain has decided this so the disappointment isn't quite so bad. Oh well tomo...

Thanks. Endo scratch was mentioned to us for our 3rd cycle, not sure how long Aberdeen have been doing it. That's a shame you weren't told but I am sure lots of women get positives without it. Good luck xx

Pessaries are horrible, my stomach so swollen and I am having trouble going to the loo. I worry that straining myself then doing damage to the embryos, silly I know. Was the same on my past cycles. Good luck for your scratch. Xx

That's great news Maame, your brave testing early. I am not feeling positive today. Think the hormone pessaries are giving me symptoms. As I feel normal in mornings before I put pessary in. Just want test date to hurry up. How is everyone else getting on? Xx

Thanks bumblebee. How are you Maame? Have you had any symptoms or just feeling normal? Have you been working? Not long really until your test date.

Great news Maame, hopefully implantation bleeding. Don't test yet, wait until your test day. So got docs line today until test day. Got bad news on Tuesday though, found out rest of our embryos couldn't be frozen so we have no back up, so if this time doesn't work then its ' game over' for us. Praying now that at least one of these embryos have made a nice home and that endo scratch us made a difference. Just trying to keep busy but rest xx Hope everyone well xx

Embryo transfer went well, they let me put 2 in as it could be our last chance, our first fresh cycle we had one transferred, second cycle we had 2 transferred which was frozen and this time was fresh and we had 2, just to help our chances, the doctors agreed it would be best. I have just been resting at home but keeping busy. Going to doctors on Wednesday to hopefully get a doctors line until test day. Going to go for walk everyday as I think it's important to keep active. I have a long journey...

Just to update everyone 12 of my 15 eggs were injected and 9 fertilised. We are over the moon with these numbers. Day 3 transfer will be Saturday but going to see if we can go to day 5 transfer this time depending on quality. Didn't realise day 5 transfer has such a higher chance of working. I am just taking it easy today but feel so much better than last egg recovery. Seeing this as a good sign. How is everyone else getting on?
