BFP with low amh- miracles can happen

Hi there, I thought I would post to hopefully offer some encouragement to anyone with a low amh. I have recently had my 5th cycle of ivf, but was told the odds were against us as my amh is 2.2 and I also have elevated anti thyriod antibodies. I was on Stims for only 5 days and 2 follicles detected. At egg collection they only got one egg and I was gutted. Thankfully it fertilised but my view was hat there was no way it could happen with only one egg. I had a 3 day transfer and yesterday was my t...

NAT testing- please help!!!

Hello lovely ladies..... It's been a while since I've been on. We decided on no more treatment last November after a failed cycle. Then 2 weeks ago my DH suddenly announced that he wanted to give it another go- he called it his mid life crisis!! Anyway, got my amh test done last week which came back an awful 2.2 (I'm only 35!) so we are aware that time is against us. The next hurdle is that during the compulsary bloods my husband's hepititis b antigen came back as positive. Although the clinic h...

Thank you and goodbye

I have just undergone my 4th embryo transfer and found out that it failed. After 3.5 years of heartbreak, the loss of 7 babies and 4 rounds of IVF its time to admit defeat and move on. Unbelievably I had my little miracle Lewis 5 years ago without even realising it, and its now time to accept that I have given it my all, without success. I have never had a diary, and have not always been regular in my posts, but the strength and guidance this forum has given me daily (my daily addiction!) has me...

Thyroid levels

Looking forward to seeing any replies- I've got elevated anti thyriod antibodies but think they are quite low and the hospital wont put me on thyroxine just now.

Foods to eat during stims

Hi there, I'm due to start my stims on Saturday and just wondering if anyone has any tips on what to eat to try and improve egg quality/ increase number of eggs. I've heard about brazil nuts and pineapple- not sure if that is for implantation. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Glasgow Centre for Reproductive Medicine

Hi everyone, Been a while since I posted on this thread! Optimistic- your test day must be soon....hoping you get a good result- you deserve it. Lots of GCRM babies have arrived I see- hope all you mummies are coping with your wee bundles! AFM- started my tablets last week (short flare protocol) and get prostap on Wed. then stims start next Saturday. Feels weird doing a different regime, but hoping that it makes all the difference. Any new GCRM-ers out there going through treatment other than O ...

First day of period??????

Thankd ktf! I had blood this morning around 8am, enough to show up on toilet paper. Seems to have slowed down a bit. I know that I will wake up tomorrow with lots of blood (that seems to be the pattern) so do you think, according to your clinic, that today is my first day?

IVF Resulted in ectopic pregnancy. Now have to wait to have other tube removed. Anyone else experienced this??

Hi Lorraine, I had a pucptured ectopic a couple of years ago and had my left tube out. Then i had an ectopic in my right tube and they treated it with methoxtexate. I was told that I would need IVF and there was never any mention of removing my right tube, even though it had had an ectopic and was most likley damaged. I had three rounds of IVF with my right tube, one of which resulted in a pregnancy (although sadly ended at 10weeks). Ive just had my right tube taken out after a natural pregnancy...

Surely not again.......

o miracle I'm afraid. Went for a scan this morning and they saw it was another ectopic. As I have aleady had one on that tube plus lots of swelling indicating it was going to burst I had to have emergency surgery to have it removed. Now have no tubes, so this one final IVF that I will have to un cancel will be our last hope. Thanks for being there. xxx
