RE: Need advice on my upcoming immune treatment

Hi Dee Good to see that you are going for another cycle. Like you my NK's were at 38% after my last miscarriage although I did have intralipids when pregnant and they got down to 9%. I am now under Mr Gorgy and we are going with a stimulated IUI end of this year beginning of Jan. His advice to me is to do one IVIG and one Intralipid prior to ovulation and then on positive test I guess another one transfusion (of which one I don't know). The reason for this is that he is throwing everything at me...

Have I ovulated?

I think all you can do is chart and wait to see a pattern. Yes the weather could of given you high temps but you would have to be incredibly hot first thing as soon as you wake...there are other things that effect temps, stress, alcohol etc. I think your day 21 blood test will give you a good idea. Let us know how you get on. x

RE: Have I ovulated?

Hi NM Clomid can effect your temperatures, making them higher prior to ovulation which is a real pain. At the moment, looking at your chart, it looks like you have not ovulated..again clomid can effect when you ovulate too, making it earlier or later than normal. The only way you will be able to tell when you have ovulated is when you have 3 recurrent higher temps than previous temps. This may be difficult if your temps are all over the place. Are you taking the temps at the same time every morn...

Lovely news Rosebud, it's such a relief to have a good scan and know that everything is ok. I am having a 10 wk scan this Friday and going to be terrified on the day, not stressing at the moment. I didn't want to wait until 12 wks to know that everything was ok so totally understand you wanting one at 10wks. Luckily I get mine free. Fingers crossed for all of us xx

Ah Ros, try not to worry. Completely get where you are coming from but don't think about the scan until the day..the cramping has stopped so it could be things just happening. Take it easy xx

RE: what to expect now?

Hi Zoe It is basically a checking in appointment, they want to know the date of your last period so they can work out an estimated due date. Then they should ask you where you want your ante-natal care (which hospital) so they can refer you. Once they refer you, you can expect to receive a date for your nuchal scan (if your county does this on NHS) and a midwife appt, both around 10-12 weeks. They should also get you to fill in the document that allows you to get a maternity exempt card that mea...

TTC has spoilt sex drive

I think because it's a emotional issue it's harder to improve by perhaps taking something to help improve it. I understand where you are coming from as it's the same for most people. Maybe trying to be consistent in when you make love and try to do something different may help, more build up, less focus on trying for a baby (especially when you are not fertile so it becomes more of a habit). xx

Hi Immunies

Hi Geebee Welcome to FZ and sorry for what you have been through so far. It is a hard decision as to whether you have the tests or not. Yes you are on a protocol but if you did have high cytokines (TH1/TH1) or high NK cells the protocol you are on will not necessarily deal with them. Sorry if that sounds negative but wanted to point out that you haven't got all bases covered if you decide not to do the tests. If you added IVIG / Intralipids to the protocol you would cover NK cells with this trea...

Pregnancy after loss chat

Great news about scan Dizzy I have lost babies after seeing heartbeats too my have nearly always been between 8-9 weeks so this week I am very anxious...I had a scan last Friday just before 8 weeks and all was good, I have one booked for next Friday when I will be 10 wks and another at 12 wks. I think it's natural for us to worry, just got to try and remain calm. I was worrying yesterday as didn't have nausea but am finding this week I am having one day of nausea and another day of extreme tired...

Pregnancy after loss chat

Hi Amoon I just wanted to say that they are probably telling you to wait as they won't see much at 5 weeks. At 6 weeks they will be able to hopefully see a heartbeat and be able to see if the pregnancy is viable. It's tough but hang in there. xx

** ACUPUNCTURE CHATTER **

I have acupuncture on a weekly basis. I think first off you should mention this to her and at the time it happens. Normally you don't really feel the needles go in but sometimes they stimulate the needles to create a achey feeling which sometimes can be quite painful. However my lady tells me to expect this. I would defo mention to her. x
