Glasgow Royal Infirmary - Treatment feedback and chat **NO PREGNANCY CHAT PLEASE**

Hello everyone, My goodness it's quiet in here just now...not much happening at all!! Let's see if we can liven things up a bit, eh? Firstly, welcome to the newbies and people I haven't said hello to before. I've been a bit fed up of TTC recently so have been trying to avoid. Shelly - good to hear you're trying again. I know it's scary but at least you know what you'll be going through this time which is a bonus. Fingers crossed for you and good luck on Monday! Fairydust - good luck with the wei...

Hi all, Just popping in to see how you are Lissy? Hope you're not going too crazy with the wait! Not long to go now and you're doing so well. Been a busy time recently so enjoying a bit of a chilled out day today, even had a cuppa in the garden until the dark clouds took over. Finally reached the top of the list last month but the dates weren't good for us for June/July so we are booked for Aug/Sept for #4. Sooooo hope we don't have to go through with it but at least we have a few weeks to achie...

Hi Lissy, Thanks for coming on to update us tonight. That's a shame about the side they couldn't get to but it's great to get 3 and as you say, you only need one so fingers crossed for tomorrow. You're bound to be a little tender but it's amazing how quickly you'll get back to normal, just chill and feet up Mrs ok? Hope you've taken tomorrow off? I'll be thinking of you in the morning when you make that nerve wracking call! xx

That sounds great Lissy! The first time I had tx I went back to work the next day but I wouldn't recommend it as you will be quite tired after the sedative, and you're not supposed to drive for at least 24hours. If you can get it off I would take it and then you have the weekend to put your feet up. Good luck! PS. Will need to go slipper shopping too - maybe in the summer sales! xx

Lissy, the first time I DR was for just over three weeks and by the third week I was having horrendous flushes, couldn't sleep at night, couldn't stay awake during the day....bloomin awful!! But the last twice I've only been on it for 2 weeks so it's not been nearly as bad. A few headaches, but nothing too awful. AF usually arrived for me after about a week. Hope it's found you and you can get onto the next stage asap. Oh and you'll probably only get the snuff depending on dates/length for stims...

Hi everyone, What a lovely weekend it's been and what a lovely wedding that was! Had a great weekend lounging around and now I have a zillion reports to finish...well a few more to do, seems like it's taking ages. So how is everyone? Christine - sorry to hear you are still having a tough time at work. Hope you manage to get it resolved soon. Work is hard enough without having that kind of stress to deal with everyday. Pixie - thanks for updating the calendar and on that note, Cookie, how was you...

Evening all, Lightning - parking at hosp is fine - there's a multistorey, but the traffic getting there is a nightmare. I can't remember how much it is as DH usually pays it! You can pay it by card too. If it's a first appt I think they just have a chat with you and discuss any previous tests (scans, SA...), but sorry I really can't remember much. They'll tell you how long the list is too. It's 2 years in Glasgow at the moment, but I'm not sure where you live. Good luck on Thurs - they are all l...

Well so much for staying positive and hoping for that wee miracle - AF arrived today, 5 days early??? I was so full of hope that these meds were going to be a miracle cure and get things on track for a natural BFP. Just feel so stupid again....why do we build ourselves up every month, full of hope, just to be let down time after time. It's been going on for too many years now and I'm fed up living my life in 2 week increments!

Hello girls, Long time since I posted but thought it was about time I showed face again. Firstly, so sorry to LA and Angelmouse. It really is devastating to get a BFN, especially when you really believe it will work. LA as the other girls said, it's perfectly normal to be so upset, it's grieving for what might have been. I also thought it would work first time and still cannot understand why it hasn't. The Drs and nursing staff can't understand it either. I hope you are both taking time for your...
