Quoted from "Blossom17" Joys - how did your scan go today? I was terrified going in but all was perfect! It's little heartbeat pumping quickly and we got photos too. They are happy for me to contact the GP to get started like every other normal pregnancy so fingers crossed he/she continues to grow healthily. I'm sure I'll be a bag of nerves before the next appointment. Thank you for checking in x

What stage is everyone at now? And how's it going? Miss the chats on here x

Oh Annie, is sorry to hear about that but maybe your luck is changing, first with your fb prize and hopefully with your next round. Enjoy today if you can xx Daisydo, I had 6 fertilised and all made it to day 3, then 3 made it to day 5. I had one transferred and today we got to see it's little heartbeat for the first time so please don't give up hope, 6 is a strong number. Best of luck for the next nerve wrecking phone call xx

Annie I was exactly the same, optimistic for the first few days then doubts start setting in. I also had blood tests done during the 2ww plus a scan to check for ohss and no mention of pregnancy so had convinced myself it was negative. I'm not sure how early you can test, I kept hearing stories of false positives due to the trigger shot (no idea if this is even true) but it made me hold off until test day but I'll admit I broke down crying countless times during the 2ww as it pretty much broke m...

Hi Martha, I was a little tender but not too bad. I got accidentally cut during EC so was slightly sore for the afternoon but only had to take one dose of pain relief. They did say you could feel tender for a few days. My pain started with the crinone gel, I hated it. Best of luck for the next few days xx

2WW Severe Pain

I found eating dates helped with the constipation and I also found those naked peanut and date bars quite useful too if you can't stomach eating just dates. Hope you get some good news xx

2WW Severe Pain

Hi Annie, I do hope all is well. I think a lot of my pain was those progesterone gel as I was severely bloated and constipated. It woke me up in the middle of the night and had sharp severe pains. I had lots of tests and everything came back clear thankfully but they did initially check for ohss so get them to check that. I also think I caught a bug as was so rundown, had flu like symptoms. Have you been seen yet? Thinking of you xx

Egg Grading . Ladies who have had treatment in Northern Ireland RFC in particular.

I was only told the grade of mine at transfer and that was only for the one put back in. I guess I could've asked about the little frozen ones but I was just taking all the info in so didn't occur to me at the time. I wouldn't stress too much about it, there's enough to worry about as it is. They will select the best one/s and advise you each step. Best of luck for tomorrow xx

First scan

Anniebell, I think I eat pretty well anyway but do allow myself a treat every now and again so I wouldn't say I cut out chocolate completely but probably cut down, I naturally just didn't crave it much. I did cut out coffee and tea though. I drank pineapple juice and ate walnuts and Brazil nuts but no idea if this helped. Best of luck xxx

Hi Daisydo, scan date is just under 3 weeks after the test so we have our appointment at the RFC on Valentine's Day. I'm so anxious, still doesn't feel real and I'm trying my hardest to keep a level head until we see a heartbeat, although can't help but let my imagination go wild sometimes. Don't really have any symptoms apart from excessive hunger, not even sure that's a thing!

We went from 6 (Day 3) to 3 (day 5) & had one transferred and two frozen. They said it's normal to lose some as they would've been the ones unlikely to have survived anyway. I remember thinking as long as 50% survive but saying that you only need one to have to a baby so I've got my fingers crossed for you. The wait is very difficult. I'm currently waiting for my scan to confirm it and it's excruciating as the RFC said to be cautiously optimistic until you hear the heart beat.
