FET with Clexane, am I being fobbed off?!

Hi I just wanted to say that I had basic clotting tests done by my GP and my first clinic and neither showed up any problems - it wasn't until I had a more detailed screening as part of the Chicago tests that I found out that I actually have 2 genetic issues that both affect clotting!! When I got pregnant I had to stay on heparin until 6 weeks after I gave birth.

Stabbing Pains and change in CM

Hi Caz I was induced at 38 weeks but I was already well on my way to giving birth - I'd been having contractions on and off for around a week and only had a 5 hour labour once the hospital started the induction Looking back I think I'd been having the stabbing pains for about 3 weeks before I had her Good luck x

Only an hour between feeds!!

Thanks MrsJ I'm pretty sure she is getting plenty of milk as I can hear and see her swallowing and her nappy changes have increased too plus she stops sucking once she's emptied the breast and just holds it in her mouth or yells

Only an hour between feeds!!

Since yesterday evening Caitlin has only been lasting around an hour between finishing one feed and wanting to start the next one!!! She is feeding for the same length of time as she would do normally (around 15-20 minutes for each feed) Between midnight and now (4pm) she has fed for longer than she would normally in a full 24 hours!!! I'm presuming that this is a growth spurt - she will be 6 weeks old tomorrow How long will it last? I feel like my boobs are going to drop off lol

Breast milk freezing question

I have a bottle of ebm that's been in the fridge for a couple of days that we didn't get round to using and I was wondering if it would still be ok to freeze or should I just throw it away? It hasn't been warmed at all in fact it hasn't even been out of the fridge

Stabbing Pains and change in CM

I have clotting problems and have been on blood thinners throughout this pregnancy and my consultant thinks its less risky for the baby to come at 38 weeks than to wait so he wants to induce a little early

Stabbing Pains and change in CM

Hi hun I could almost have written your post myself as its pretty much exactly how i'm feeling too - I saw my midwife yesterday and she said that the stabbing pains were my cervix getting ready for labour and i'm 3/5 engaged too I'm booked to go for induction on the 28th but midwife said to be prepared as i could well start labour on my own before then

Mosaic Cells indentifed

Hi Joeys Yes that pic is my Shawnee when she was a few moths old - she's 3 now and has turned into a really wonderful dog (she's an alaskan malamute so a little bit more chunky than a husky but very similar in temperament) we also had a german shephard before we got Shawnee but we had to have her PTS when she was about 15 Im not sure whether your skin issues could be related to your immune issues - although i always did get very run down after a failed cycle so maybe it is part of it I hope you ...

Hi hun Bra's are a bit of a sore subject with me (literally ) but i started buying mat bras at around 9 weeks and now have a huge collection but none i can wear all day without getting achy - although technically its not my boobs that ache its more my rib cage if that makes any sense I also have quite a few of those back extenders and they do help too as i can let them out gradually through the day Regarding baths i havent dared have one since the day before ET (i do shower though ) and i would ...

Help needed to decipher level 1 tests please

the serum C reactive protein looks ok too hun - as a rough guide anything above 10mg/L indicates an infection or that you have an inflammatory response going on somewhere so less than 5mg/L should be fine

Black Out Curtains / Blinds

Hi BT Not too sure about black out blinds but my MIL made us some curtains for the nursery and we have lined these with black out material which has worked out quite a bit cheaper than buying blinds or ready mades (we have massive floor to ceiling windows in our house - over 11 foot high in babys room )
