NEW PARENT CHAT THREAD

Hi Net, Cheenab, I'm still here, just not on so much as I'm tattered with my very soon to be 1 year old. I guess you know all about that! My LO isn't biting yet, but I'm sure it'll come. I was just planning on saying no, maybe pointing to the bite and moving him away. He does pull my hair which is really sore (and I don't have very much so I need it all!) I tell him no and point to my hair, when he continues I lift him away and put him on the floor or away from me. He has a little strop, then ge...

Lynsey, welcome and congratulations of becoming a mummy I bet your little boy is getting lavished in mummy cuddles and kisses x Net, I feel of you. I'm sure your LO will be refusing to come home before long with all the fun that'll be happening at nursery. It'll be harder on you I'm sure, stay strong x All this baby babble and ...

NEW PARENT CHAT THREAD

Hi girls, Swimming was good fun again Net, but as normal they both had a melt down when it came to getting dressed...I think they're in cahoots together as we went for a walk last Friday and they again yelled at the two of us on the way back, then all smiles when we picked them up out of their prams! Cheeky monkeys! Off again this Friday to a different pool that RG found. Net, it must have been quite overwhelming for her I can understand her being out of sorts. Fingers crossed she gets back to h...

NEW PARENT CHAT THREAD

Thanks girls, I'm sorry so many of you have had the same kind of problem, but it's good to know I'm not imagining it! Maybe my pain threshold is really low? The GP gave me anaesthetic cream so I'll use that until I get used to things. I agree with you though Net, I lost my confidence a bit I just don't want it to get so long that I become scared, and impacts our relationship. Thanks for the advice. Off swimming this afternoon with Rallygirl and Isla, I forgot that they yelled at the two of us ge...

NEW PARENT CHAT THREAD

Oh so many updates again, I need to get on more often! DS and I have been a bit poorly this week with head colds, more annoying than anything. I feel so sad for poor Rubin with his snotty nose so many of you thinking about starting TX again or like WMG pregnant, it's all so exciting. I have to confess we've not had yet...not through trying it's just been too painful has anyone experienced that too? I've been to the GP 3 times, the last time she checked me and reckons it's the internal scarring. ...

NEW PARENT CHAT THREAD

Hi girls I'm so rubbish at posting recently (again) but I do check in on you all each day Sasha I'm sure it's quite normal for LOs to be unwell, like Net says it'll boost their immune system for when they're older. Rubin is only 5 months but has been unwell with a cold/cough twice so that's about on par with you. As for books, I only started reading last week after DS was born! I've just been too tattered at night and didn't want to turn the light on in our bedroom incase I woke him up I'm readi...

Morning girls, Congratulations Net, you must be so pleased. Fingers crossed she continues to sleep through from now on DS has been up every 2 hours feeding and grouchy for the last few days, I'm hoping this cough/cold we've all had passes soon as we're all starting to get a bit knackered with it. He seems to wake at about 3am and not get back down before half 4...I look wrecked but he's currently I rolling about on his mat giggling and squeezing happily! Hello girls, I hope everyone is getting better...I've been offered the flu jab but after feeling totally rubbish when I had one earlier this year when I was pregnant I think I'll cancel my appointment. Is anyone else having it? BeeS, well done you on that great weight gain, fantastic Mummy milk cake in your bra yippee sounds like a good day! Was the mud picture any good Moogle? Buzz bee I don't think there is a minimum age for swimming, it's more what age you're comfortable with. Although I think if mum has had any stitches then it's recommended to wait 6 weeks for everything to heal, although again that's for mum not baby. There is a baby who is only 4 weeks old in our class...I think that seems a little young but she seems fine x

Hi girls, oh dear so many poorly sick babas and mums Amyeliz, sounds like a visit to the GP might be a good idea, poor Scarlett sounds like she's had a really tough time, you too x AG it's lovely to hear from you. I don't have any advice for you with Nora, but I'm sure as always someone will help out x BeeS, I know playing with the oven isn't good, but it did make me giggle. AG is right life in one big science experiment! I'm sure you're not creating a terror but it must be hard on you. My masti...

NEW PARENT CHAT THREAD

Hi girls, I'm feeling much much better today thanks for asking, antibiotics have kicked in and my breast is softer and not all red anymore. Yes I could continue BF it's recommended to help push through any blocked ducts and make sure the milk supply stays. I don't really know why it happens, and to be honest I didn't see it coming, I didn't have any lumps just started to feel like I was getting a bad cold/flu, then woke up a few days later with a really sore breast. It had been spurting milk the...

Good to hear he's getting better though, poor wee cherub. I hope you're doing ok yourself now too x Buzzbee, your routine and LO sound lovely, we seem to wave from a few nights of one feed then back to 3 per night, but like you he doesn't really stir just fed and sleeping again. Good that she's sleeping in her crib sometimes, that'll make ...

Hi girls, like some of the others I'm reading messages every day but don't seem to get the chance to write anything myself! BeeS, Moogle and Heather, I'm the same I can't believe R is 14 weeks already. He's stopped wanting cuddles and nursing all the time and is getting so inquisitive, it's lovely but like you girls I'm missing those early days. WMG I'm so sorry about your little man, I hope his cold passes soon and those teeth poke through so his pain eases We had the HV last week, R weighed 15...
