Help on choosing round 2 :)

Hi, I don't think 41% is right! Look at hfea website or ring them for accurate success rate. It's important to look at your age group and type of treatment: 35-37 27 out of 108 Predicted chance between: 15% - 40% most likely around: 25.0% Consistent with national average live birth rate of 27.9% Go with Dr Heasley, there's an info day in Sept... Wen I went last year I got money off treatment voucher. Starting prob Dec or Jan x

RFC Waiting List

Cactus that's not fair that u cancelled your holiday because of this you can choose to defer for few months anyway after first offer - at least it was the case last year. Keep at them, it's the only way! Once your in, I found RFC good.

Help on choosing round 2 :)

Hi, Origins will need to see your notes as well as any SA and blood results from previous cycles. Iv had a cycle with Origins, I found them great, especially Dr Heasley. Didn't work for me though. I will be trying again with Origin and if that doesn't work I will then make the move to gcrm. If you don't mind me asking what age are you? Have you been told cause of infertility? Xx

Helpppp ...... AF Related

Hi, I wouldn't look for usual symptoms as the injections and gel really mess up your hormones.. My first cycle I bled even before test date while still on crinone. Second time I bled few days after stopping crinone. Sorry it didn't work this time

Diabetes

I was started on metformin as I had a little insulin resistance. My fertility consultant said elevated sugars can affect egg quality... The wait will benefit you as you will probably have 3-6 months with hba1c close to 7.0 before treatment.

Diabetes

Hi, Are you on metformin? You have done very well getting from 10.6 to 7.2! Perhaps your GP or diabetes specialist nurse could offer advice re. Nutrition to help you get below 7.0. Good luck

Short Protocol or Long Protocol on NHS

Nearly everyone on NHS is started on long cycle as they can put you on spray to down regulate you and then fit you in with their schedule.. Origins and other private clinics are more likely to start you on day 1 of your natural period (short cycle). As they are not overly busy they work their schedules around you - the way it should be in my opinion!! Who did you have as your doctor at Origins? I have had treatment with both and I didn't like the RFC but I know people who have had succes there f...

LIFE IN THE LAB - FOR ALL OF YOUR SPERM QUESTIONS

Hi, Apologies if this question has already be asked... i was wondering about saliva and sperm? Will oral sex (on male partner) before actually having sex affect sperm? Also I have just purchased conceive plus lubricant to see if it helps.. My husbands sperm count is very good but I want to make sure we aren't harming the swimmers :-) Thanks x
