Hello guys, / girls. Dr Ramsey - If your male and have issues go see him - read my topic. Following from this thread me and the wife went through another cycle of paid treatment. Egg collection 19 april, embroy transfer 21st. Since the transfer the wife has had the following symptoms. Wind, thirst, dizzyness, l...

Hi guys, Yes I am still here. I have now been injecting 150iu Menopour with 1500IU testosterone for just over a year. Regular bloods ( hormone checks ). This has not been cheap, bloods every 3 months and Menopour has probably cost me around 7500. Menopour is very expensive. This excludes any consultation costs, travel etc Just had my last sample analysed at Nurture fertility @ Nottingham. So far, no news yet but initial checks indicate 0 sperms. We are going for an IVF cycle at Nurture, I was ho...

So 246 days later I am providing an update. As above I went under the knife with Dr Ramsey and he operated I have my results which were kind of disappointing. Some more History.. I only have one Testes the other one is not descended. Back on Topic.. Since I only had one I could only have the operation done on the one.. Bad news.. It seems my Testical is only partially working. Good News.. I got 10 vials of "material" / tissue samples. one of them vials contained little sperms not many but "appro...

Dr Ramsey - If your male and have issues go see him - read my topic.

Well my fellow forum members, I thought I need to update my posting so show some progress. Couple of points first. I live in Leeds, commute to London is a trek, takes me around 3 maybe 4 hours depending on traffic. I have decided to go private as the NHS is pretty poor. - I cant afford it, I am not rich. so far each session has cost me around £100 for his time + the costs of the tests. £180 for bloods £200 for sperm checks. (thats each time) Well the reason why I went to see him because as far a...

Welcome.. I am not a doctor.. but its not all that bad! at least your making 80 million of them. Step 1 is not to worry, stress can cause more issues. Maybe a diet change, exercise with a combo of vitamins will boost them chin up dude..

Failure Again

Wife has always been happy.. shes positive all of our friends have kids, were the odd ones out. Its a really bizzar feeling, turning upto a birthday part of a 3 year old and sitting and looking at the other children and not having your own one to shout at or to play with! I made contact with a clinic in Switzerland, they supposed to do MICRO TEST. Cant find much on these forums about it. But thanks guys, I am venting and skulking with ice on my groin area.!

Failure Again

Well what can I say.. Eventually saved enough to get myself and the wife booked into a clinic in Norway and it seems we have failed. (I failed) The issue really is with me being diagnosed with azzopermia many years ago. We had 11 embroys, 7 were implanted 2 survived past the 1st day, 0 survived the day after. This is the 2nd time we visited the clinic and both times have had the TESE process done on me. 2 samples removed 5 years ago. 4 samples removed day before yesterday. Clinic has informed me...

IVF Part two - What Should I do ?

Hi, Neaverbeaver. Thanks for your input Time to get the wifey involved. I have dropped them an email and waiting for a response Quoted from "neaverbeaver" hi cibox I cannot advise re success rates but I don't think that's the way to go - I picked Oxford Fertility Unit coz their rates were of the highest in the UK and they sucked! Faceless corporate coldness is all we got there along with a BFN! After two years of grieving more about the treatment during the cycle as much as the negative result, ...

The last clinic we went to was in Norway, We have applied for a VISA but have been refused due to VFS failing to copy and insert a letter into our case which we provided when applying. I would rather go...

Hubby going for operation

Quoted from "Tiggs" Hi Cibox, My DH is in a similar situation with no sperm in his ejaculate and only one testicle due to an accident when he was younger. He had SSR 2 years ago under general. They tried PESE first but couldn't find anything so they done TESE and found some hiding there! Unfortunately it's all gone now (and still no BFP) so he is having SSR again next month and it is likely to be TESE again. I just hope they find some more. He has also just found out he has high blood pressure ...
