Pcos fertility help " already have one child

I "think" they will try to stabilise your periods with drugs... try and make the Ovulation Period longer etc... Also, why isn't IVF an option? Just because you have 1 child, doesn't mean that isn't the way forward.... You just have to pay unfortunately, like me. I have severe PCOS, but opposite to you, in that my cycles are that long I used to go maybe 4 months without a period? Now it's around 6 weeks, so there is a bit of a pattern, but by the time my body ovulates, the egg is no use!! So I ha...

I'm back!

I have always felt cheated in a way that I never got any frosties.... But then I guess that would have been an even harder decision to make to destroy them now I am not with their dad anymore We were going to wait until after my 30th and we have been to New York, but something is telling me to just bl**dy go for it... So I texted DP last night (he is working nights) and he replied with "I've been thinking about this too, we will discuss weds evening when Scarlett goes to bed" I'm so nervous abou...

I'm back!

Hey hey hey ... Not even sure if anybody remains who used to be on years ago... My history: I have severe PCOS and do not ovulate on my own whatsoever. I had 2 cycles of Gonal F Injections, which resulted in BFP's both times but lost both babies Then another cycle of Gonal F to which I was unresponsive. I then moved onto IVF. We went to CARE in Manchester. & there I got my beautiful miracle girl! Since then, me & her dad split up! (drink & drugs & depression on his side) I have been with my "new...

Anxiety almost 3

I come on here for a change and find a post by you & no1 has replied I'm here... haha... It does sound like a development stage though - have you googled if they have one as they're approaching 3? When S is having one, she wakes countless times a night, and eats everything in sight too

Congratulations WMG! Does she have a name? We have been through all the stages as well so far... Hitting, kicking, biting, headbutting It's more rare now, but she kicks out when having her nappy changed! And she headbutts anything and everything if she is angry! She threw herself back into a babygate last week which gave her a nasty shock! And the other night she couldnt get to sleep so started headbutting her bedroom wall She's not even 19 months yet!! No1 told me about this If she's in close v...

Herbal Tablets - Do they work??

The doctors can't give me anything to regulate my hormone levels though? They won't give me birth control pills, because I suffer with paralysis migraines so too big a risk of stroke apparently So basically it seems I have to remain fat forever Literally nothing works ... diets, exercise... my weight won't even shift by 1lb

Herbal Tablets - Do they work??

I am looking into buying (from H&B so I know they are the real deal)... Flaxseed (Linseed) & also Agnus Castus (ChasteTreeBerry) Has anybody tried these for either, regulating their hormones & weight... or indeed for TTC? I have severe PCO and my body has never worked... History of countless fertility treatments, miscarriages, ectopic & finally IVF resulting in our miracle baby girl Was worth it all in the end! BUT... I have serious weight issues, doesn't matter what I do, I can't lose weight! A...

girls I still keep checking in on you all We have had the most horrendous past month with S! A real attitude, screaming literally all the time she is awake in what seems to be frustration. Anyway, it all ties in with her final development leap! The next one is meant to be another year or so now around 2.5 years old? She has hit every development leap / storm cloud dead on when it said she would... Been a nightmare at every one, but this was by far the worst! Nothing pleased her and it lasts 6 w...

Poor delayed teether She was grumpy for 4 days, then the week after that bad nappies and thats all... cut it I didn't know until I thought I best have a feel in there haha - like razors aren't they!

Sorry I forgot about the teeth post!! Hahaha Scarlett did this a bit ago now... Only ever when having bedtime bottle and she thought it was appropriate to put her fingers in my mouth at the same time! If I pretended to bite her fingers she laughed her head off and this was a routine we got into every evening for about a month! Was hilarious and made bedtime fun Now, she just tries to clamber off me and run away (then goes behind the couch and poo's) Little terror I'm telling you Cheens - will tr...

ladies... nothing much to update from my side I don't think? looking forward to heading down south to see Cheens and her family for Z's 2nd birthday home wise everything is happy happy happy at the moment - god it's been sooooo many years since I've been able to say that? possibly before the IVF even started? and why are we happy? because my DP has left his job! I know that sounds ridiculous, but I felt like a single mummy before and was struggling doing everything alone and also keeping my own...

girlies... well I definately feel for all you dealing with the terrible 2's! I often think S is having them early but maybe I wouldn't be so lucky to not get them again in 6 months time! OMG 6 months and that could all start! Time is flying!! In relation to S and sleeping - it's cracked She finally snapped out of it, and is sleeping soundly again.... Usually 7pm - 7/8am ... But friday she slept in until 8.40am! And last night she asked to go to bed at 6pm bless her so she did! Must have had a v...

girls I can't really say S is sleeping any better now she is over the viral ... however I'm certain there's a tooth about to make an appearance somewhere cos she keeps putting her dummy in handle first to chomp on the plastic! She stayed at my dads this weekend (she's goes once a month as they don't live local so they both benefit from spending time together) And I was hoping the change in routine etc would knock her out of waking up countless times lol... Friday night was 3 times, and Saturday...

NEW PARENT CHAT THREAD

Hi Ladies, me again... Had the most awful day on Friday - fright of my life, and typically my OH who had been off all week, had gone back to work that morning Basically ... Scarlett was rushed to hospital with suspected meningitis! She had every symptom apart from bright lights sensitivity! She woke up screaming (not like her) ... She was boiling hot (we later found out her temp was over 40 degrees) ... She was convulsing/shaking cos of the temp, she was covered in a rash and when I touched her ...

We also use the yellow cream (metanium) when she is suffering bad rash (not very often more when she has bad poo's continuously) BUT.... EGG WHITE ... crack an egg, seperate it, whisk it up, and smother his bum in it, then put a nappy on... It takes all swelling away to heal! I tried this when her's was at the point of blistered and bleeding and by next morning it was heading the right direction in healing! ... Its easier if there is 2 of you though cos the egg on your hands is very messy so you...

everyone, me and my weekly pop in / catch up haha.. Lynsey - how amazing you got to adopt!! I still keep considering this... I am extremely lucky after everything to finally have my little miracle, but I hate the thought of her being an only child (DP has other ideas though) ... But I would love to adopt (although not sure his past would allow?) Do they allow certain people that wouldn't "fit the ideal criteria" to be considered at panel do you know? (for like mitigating circumstances) I know t...

I am no longer worrying about her speech development thanks ladies! And she has thrived this last week especially! She is booked in March to see Audiology about her hearing again though so we'll see what happens then. But this past week, we now have these words in her vocab... Sock (ock) ,,, Dog, Cat (cag), Mummy, Dad (she doesn't say daddy), and Quick cos I always say it getting her out of the car in the rain hahaha, so she says kick it sounds like. She understands things as well this past week...
