Dreaded injections

Well done hon, that’s the worst one done I got severe OHSS and was in hospital for 2 weeks (was told congratulations on your pregnancy in the hospital lift going from A&E, I didn’t even know I was until then), my consultant said it actually ‘supported’ my pregnancy and it may not have worked had my levels not been all over the place! Every cloud and all that Hope the paracetamol helped too xx

Dreaded injections

Wishing you luck for your first injection tomorrow. Grab as much fat as you can, I was nervous but after the first one it was really fine, and I hate needles! I did mine at 7pm, was just told the same time each day. Sometimes mine felt a little itchy after but only tiny, it’s never as bad as our head thinks beforehand xx

NurtureMe.uk Fertility Nutrition - a month's free supplements to all FZ Members

Sounds fantastic Abby! Definitely very exciting and I think very in need. I was completely at a loss of what was the best thing to take when I was first ttc, the clinic wasn't very forthcoming with advice and I kind of guessed I suppose. Wishing you lots of luck with NurtureMe xxx

Stopping breastfeeding

Thanks Net x I read somewhere that it can take 7-10 days for your milk to dry up and that got me thinking...start again? But I presume that is when you have lots, I was only doing a little bedtime feed... Plus not fair on her as she seems absolutely fine with it not being there anymore and that would just confuse her... I'll stop going on about it now...it's got to happen sometime... xxxx

Stopping breastfeeding

Thanks Net, that's 5 nights now...guess that's what I'm doing...and she hasn't asked for it so I just need to move on I suppose, it isn't sitting right at all though I guess Xmas time is a good distraction too? Xx

Stopping breastfeeding

Thanks hon, another night without...so I guess that's what I'm doing... It makes me feel so sad, cried this evening, so silly because I am really happy with having done it this long and I don't want to carry on until she's 3 or whatever, just love it, and the realisation that it probably is the last time I will be doing it. I am still holding out the teeniest bit of hope that maybe in a year or two, but tbh I don't think DH will let me cxx

Stopping breastfeeding

Just wondering, how long does it take for your milk to dry up. I haven't consciously stopped, just been doing night time for the past few months, she stopped herself in the morning. Then dd1 has been poorly recently so haven't fed dd2 for 3 nights, thought maybe it's a good thing and I should stop, she is 26 months, but now I am getting cold feet and don't want to stop....

Don't know what to think!

Hi, sorry to hear the results were not good. My situation is slightly different as DH had a vasectomy. As with Jenny he had an operation to aspirate some sperm. We had ICSI and have two little girls I wish you lots of luck with whichever path you go down xx

5W5D scan 2 sacs, 2 yolk sacs, no babies

Symptoms definitely fluctuate. Have just been reading back through my diary and found this... Well, am in complete limbo land!!! I thought I was 6+5, maybe 6 (day 4 and early blasto put back on the 26th...?), when got into scan room lady said we were in a bit early really... I have two sacs, one bigger than the other, one at 6+1 and the other at 5 something, she didnt really bother with that. Her face sort of dropped and she pressed the buzzer, a nurse came in and then got a doctor. They just lo...

OHSS

Sorry to hear you have had this, it is terrible isn't it. I had it with my first and was in hospital for a few weeks, it was the worst pain I have ever experienced. My consultant said I nearly died, but the hormones apparently did support my pregnancy, every cloud Huge congratulations on your pregnancy Hope the pain goes soon xx
