Back on the Rollercoaster!

Hello there, Wow it seems hugely quiet on here - is anyone still around? I am an oldie from a way back when in 2009... when we had ICSI at the GCRM while waiting for our NHS round. It was a failed cycle and then after 3 IUIs at the GRI and one MC - we had two little monkeys who are now 5! We are embarking back down the TX route for one more try after unsuccessfully TTC on our own for the last 5 yrs! I can't believe how much I have forgotten about what all happens! EEK! Had Ovarian Assessment and...

Hi ladies, Wow it is really quiet on here! I hope everyone is ok! And I hope that treatments are all ongoing and that you are soon on the road to having your bumps! I have a question actually. Well actually I have two! 1 - I don't know if any of you remember be saying that my sister was also having trouble ttc, well after several failed ICSIs now they are looking at donor eggs. Anyway, she lives abroad where they don't hve a great amount of things to help with these things and she is coming to v...

Oh Nat, I'm so sorry to hear that you lost two of your babies. I hope you are ok. Do they know what happened? If you don't want to talk about it I totally understand. There is so much added stress with a multiple pregnancy. So glad though that one has stuck on board and hope that they thrive for the rest of the pregnancy. You're nearly halfway there and that's great! How are you feeling with it all? Are you at the Southern? I find I really miss my bump! Either want my bump back or to be how I wa...

Hope to be seeing more people on the other side soon. Lots of love! Jxx

Thanks ladies! Things are getting a bit easier but Weeyin, like you say it is one thing after the other! I don't remember much of going into the theatre, think there was so much happening I just zoned out. But were you at the PRM? I was at the Southern. It was so great to hear the first cry. But baby 2 didn't cry initially and needed a little bit of oxygen but then was fine after a quick minute - well felt like forever for me but sure it was only a few seconds. I would like to give the breastfee...

Hello ladies, Well, finally got a minute to get on here. Things have been a bit hectic! Our baby boys were born a week ago on Friday 10th June at 0111 and 0113 by emergency section. Twin 1 weighted 6lb 10oz and twin 2 weighted 7lb 1 oz. I was being induced and it all started off really well but after getting the epidural everything slowed down and I was no longer progressing so we had to go for a section. I was in hospital for 5 days as the babies are struggling to get the hang of breastfeeding ...

Hello, Well - Bushbaby I see from your sig that your scan went well! That's great! Hope everything continues to go well! Confused - fingers crossed you can now put everything behind you and move forward! I know how you feel, dreading the same happening again. I Felt the same and convinced myself that if it happens once that it would happen again despite the drs saying there was every chance that the next time everything would be fine... and low and behold here I am. So miracles can happen. Hang ...

Shelly - please don't give up. Personally I wouldn't test. I kinda felt like you would get the ultimate answer on test day, why torture yourself before with a maybe answer if you know what I mean. I did do about a hundred tests after test day on both +ve and -ve cycles just to make sure . Like Lisa says, anything could be happening. I didn't have any spotting of any sort but I did have a lot of cramping. It could either be signs of af but equally could be cramping from things stretching and grow...

Shelly - so glad it has hung on over night and is doing well! Wishing you the best of luck and fingers crossed for a BFP in a coupe weeks! Shirlz - Well done on the weight loss! You've done so well! I totally understand how you feel and am happy not come. The last thing I would want to do is upset anyone and think it's more important and you will benefit more from meeting up with those at the same stage than those that have moved on being there. You feeling comfortable and able to express yourse...

Hey, I think what we are going to do is to keep the moses baskets downstairs so they can nap there during the day and then put them in the cot together in our room. That is if DH finishes the cots (he's building them from scratch). One is just about done, rails just need a second coat of paint and to be assembled. And then the second one is still to be built Eek, running out of time, but am sure he'll get them done, and if not I reckon as soon as he gets kicked out of the hospital he will be pul...

Oh how exciting, will be great to see everyone, but if anyone changes their minds and isn't comfortable with bump being there then just let me know and I totally understand. (That is if I make it that long an still have a bump.) Eyore/Pixie - the calendar is great! Great to be able to have a quick look and see where everyone is. Shelly - good luck today! Liz - I think it would be great if you can make it along. I didn't know what to expect the first time we met up but it was really great (even t...

Hello ladies, Hope everyone is doing well! Sorry I haven't been around much. Cookiemonster - I'm so sorry they aren't going to help you out any more, I really hope that things work out for you! Lissy - hope af arrives soon! Pinkdaisy - sounds like a holiday is a fab plan. You can only let tx take over so much before you need a break from it all. You need to let your body and you mind recover from the rollercoaster. Hopefully that will help in going back for the next round. I'm always keeping eve...
