Hi Everyone hope your all well. I had my follow up appointment last week and we were advised to go IVF plus another hysterscopy just before. They cant tell us the success rates of IVF with thin endoemtrium but they can say its lower than average. so we have spent a little while mulling over what we should do and have decided to go for it and do IVF at argc . so i start end of august. im quite scared - i havnt quite got my head around it all. Im not scared becuaust of the drugs - more that i feel...

Hi everyone Ann - Really pleased to hear they gave you some hope, sounds much more positive. Hopefully youll get some good news from youy hysterscopy. Hi Harry I really like the ARGC, its intense but you know your treatment is tailored to you which is what gives them the higher success rates but the downside is you have lots of bloodtests etc (and ive only done IUI there!!) with the sc.ans i have found that if i get there first thing like 7.15 am then hardly ever wait(Ive found its better to tak...

No he wouldnt talk to me about IVF and said just to wait as he didnt want to give me info without having read all my notes.I was thinking about whether i could have a hysteroscopy - i will add that to my questions(ive got a book going on). I just didnt know whether they would do it as a regular thing but if its the only thing that will help then im all for it. Anne is off to ARGC tomorrow so im waiting to see what they say as i suspect it will be very simular to what they will say to me next wee...

Hi Ladies well i had my lning scan today on my natural cycle(with a bit of clomid thrown in). Was initially excited as my lining was thicker that it had ever been au natural but my excitement was short lived as Dimitri advised me that he thought my lining was only increased due to the hysterscopy i had had 2-3 months ago, So when i asked when having my IUI if it was the drugs or the hysterscopy making it grow- he said he felt the hysterscopy. So whilst for my IUI's ive had, it doesnt change anyt...

hi there glad to hear slyfoxey is home - hope she feels better soon. opal - im with flower on the injections - the first night my DH did it and it was the most painful thing ever - apart from the fact that he put the needle in wrong(he tried to stitch me together!!), i screamed, he panickd and shot the liquid in quickly- which hurt a lot - tho we laugh about it now but at the time i thought i was never going to get through the next2 weeks. Drama queen moment. The next day i did it myself and was ...

Thanks girls for all your support, it means a lot to me. Ive stopped sulking, spoken to the clinic, cant get a review appt til 7th July, they offered for us to do another IUI whilst we wait but think i need a month off from all the drugs, agreed with them that i would take clomid only and do a monitoring cycle to see if my lining has grown on its own(with the help of acupuncture) or if only the drugs are making it grow. Then we can have a review appt and see if we have another IUI or need to go ...
