Follow on milk, is it necessary?

I personally didnt bother with follow on milk, just after a year i very much ditched the steriliser and the formula and went to cows milk straight from the fridge. however if they were sick and not eating i did give them the follow on here and there so they got the extra nutrients that they were missing from food! Never had any problems with the change over at all, and was it a good feeling to stop steriling - damn i hated that thing!! Go with your instincts when the time comes, don't think ther...

Night time Nakedness??!!

Bells - where on earth was that post from?? never seen that before and indeed it would have saved 6 months of hassle, but then again i would have missed out on 6 months of absolute hysterics as they had one up on me each time lol. Flic - such a lucky girl they truly are amazing children, but this is worrying, if this is what they have done up to now, what on earth are the teenage years going to be like!!

18 month old twins undo sleeping bag at nap time

Hello hun, I feel your pain, it was my two in the night time nakedness thread! The two suggestions i would have for the sleeping bag is either - give it up! they are making it a game as you are going back to go and put them back in it, maybe they are telling you they dont want it, i would leave them, they will soon learn if they get cold, the other suggestion (not read all the above comments so sorry if been mentioned aleady) put the sleeping bag inside out! then it will take a lot longer to get...

The yearning is back!!

Thank you all ladies. Hopeful - you are right, just don't feel like i am done trying yet, Don't get me wrong if we fail at IVF and can have no more I will be happy with what I have, but would like to try again! gemmab - I doubt this would have even come up for discussion could mother nature work her magic, but seeing as we have not been taking any precautions since the babies were born seems unlikely to happen (although i still get the ''your teying too hard speech''). Have spoken about it with ...

The yearning is back!!

Sorry if tis is in the wrong place, Have not been on for a while been a long year so far but basically i have two beautiful children, boy girl twins, they will be 2 and a half in decemember. I am in by no means ungrateful for the gorgeous children that i already have, considering the problematic pregnancy and premature delivery but i cannot stop this yearning desperation for another try at being a mummy. There are so many worries to think about, are my two old enough to cope with siblings, will ...

Night time Nakedness??!!

I could not have had two different children if i had tried, My Prince, Rian is a tornado, if i let him lose in hos bedroom, everything will be out of every drawer within seconds and i mean seconds, if you stop him from doing something he will auto matically look round the room to see what he can destroy next, yet give him a book and he will sit and read it for ages, i have never had a problem with him at night. He gives me the best cuddle has the ctest beaming smile and is just scrummy!! My Prin...

21 month old with 'spots' around her mouth

Sorry to hear about your friends son, certainly was not disregarding it as not an illness, but only certain strains, i hope he gets well soon. I had to call the doctor out to my princess last sat night, she had blisters on her tounge and a rash on her feet, the doctor checked her she had blisters all down her throat and red ears on each side and a raging temp, and of course a sore throat because of the blisters in her throat, It was a viral infection but at first thought he said hand foot and mo...
