Anyone starting ivf at Belfast rfc any time soon?

Hi Chrissy. I was told to take them at the same time each day so I opted for 8pm. Don't keep the needles in the fridge as they will sting and what I done was switch sides every evening so not injecting into the same place x

Anyone starting ivf at Belfast rfc any time soon?

I've found fet a lot easier than a fresh cycle. There's only one scan before transfer and with no injections it's a bonus. On my schedule I had to take the nasal spray for 3 weeks then start estrigon tablets then the pressaries twice a day. Have to continue these for the foreseeable. Full treatment is about 6 weeks

Anyone starting ivf at Belfast rfc any time soon?

Thanks jmck. So one of our embryos survived the thaw and embryologist said it was a lovely embryo so hoping that it's snuggling in now. Transfer was a lot easier than last time much to my surprise and the. Doctor who I happened to have the last time. Me & dh were looking at my schedule yesterday while we were waiting to be called and couldn't believe how quick it has went. It's seems like forever when your waiting on the acceptance letter and now we're at the end of the treatment. Have you booke...

Anyone starting ivf at Belfast rfc any time soon?

Sorry to read this jmck. I understand how devastating it is when treatment doesn't work. We had our fresh cycle in 2015 and only having our fet now because I conceived naturally a few times in between so was always pushed back. Although when we got the review appointment as it had been a year from we were there all the appointments have been really quick. We went back to see rfc in October and I've been through a hysteroscopy between that and starting treatment. Everyone is different but if you ...

1 embryo or more in RFC?

Hi missus. I'm currently going through a fet at the minute and when we initially spoke to the consultant we consented to have our 2 blastocysts transferred then when we were up for our nurse appointment to get the medication the embryologist spoke to us and said in his opinion 2 would be high risk as I have recurrent loss. I spoke to my consultant again and we've decided that on day of transfer we will initially transfer one but if it's not too grade they will transfer 2. I think it's all down t...
