Hello....

Well, I'm back, it's been a while! Our monkeys are now 3.5yrs old. Life was great, but feb of this year our world fell apart when Mrs C was diagnosed with a brain tumour! It's been tough, she's undergone 3 brain surgery operations, made our ttc journey look like a walk in the park. She's now onto 5days of chemo every 28. So what have I missed around here?

Testosterone replacement therapy

Welcome aboard. Nebido is meant to be the better option but is more costly than the gels so some NHS areas won't prescribe it. Stick around and hopefully others can help with their experiences.

New to the site and hopefully about to start our 1st cycle with OFU

Hi Nevara, We used OFU, 3 times. All 3 were ICSI cycles and we got lucky on the 3rd time round. Our experience has been good at OFU, the staff were always helpful friendly and honest. They told us facts, not necessarily what we wanted to hear etc. Location is excellent, with a Premier Inn next door if you need to stay over (we stayed the night before an egg collection because of snow!). Happy to answer any questions you may have. Mr C

PRAMS FOR TWINS

All, I see the city select is being mentioned still We have had ours since day one and the girls are now 14months old. It's perfect even after daily use. We get lots of comments about how flexible it is. Would we swap it? Nope

Do i carry on with my tests?

Thats good news Ressy. Talking is extremely important, throughout the whole IVF process. Without knowing what each of you thinks, how can you plan the rest etc. So keep doing what you're doing, keep going with the tests even if they come to nothing, they be equally as important etc. We're all here if you need us. Do i carry on with my tests?

I would definitely carry on your investigations. There may be underlying issues that could yet be discovered. Good luck in your journey, and most importantly keep talking to you partner. Regards, Mr C

Blimey Moony, hardly easy is it Must be a nightmare, I hate being a parent that is powerless to stop them feeling ill. We wanna do everything to help them but sometimes there isn't much we can do. Fingers crossed things are moving in the right direction.

Sleeping...... Help!

As above. We start our bedtime routine of bottles etc at around 6:30, and they get undressed/dressed into sleep suit etc before bottle. Then after bottle it's into the grow bags and then into bed by 7pm. They then sleep through to 7am.

We are expecting Twins!

We use it every day. We even have a twin mum friend who took back her iCandy to John Lewis and swapped it for a City Select! Would gladly buy it again. We use the seats facing each other all the time. The girls are 10months old and it still means they can face each other. If you use the maxicosi car seat adapters, the 2 car seats can only face rearwards (as can the carrycots). The 2 "main" seats can face together, away, both front or both rear.

Oxford Fertiltiy CLinic experience/open days/

Sorry, Sedation. That's what I meant. I wasn't allowed for EC, that's when the guy is doing his bit But I was waiting in the room where they wheel the lady into as soon as she's come round. Then they come and tell you how many eggs were collected etc. For ET, we were both there (holding hands )

We bought the City Select in Red, thought it more visible than black We have the carrycot attachments that aren't being used any more, so must get round to selling those on.
