Low Progesterone - Shall I go private for clomid or wait 12 weeks for NHS?

Hi, whilst my journey was ever so slightly different we decided to wait for all the NHS tests because we were not sure if we would need to go private in the future and we had a limited budget. I guess I'm saying that I'm glad I got what I did out of the NHS even though we ended up having a private icsi cycle anyway. I felt Nhs were my practice runs. Good luck x

Stimming question

Yes the first cycle is always a bit scary. Not heard of that particular stimms medication but if it's in a pen and you don't have to change dose it should be straightforward enough. If I can help anymore let me know! Good luck for the whole cycle. X

Stimming question

Hi I always used to to do my stimms injection in the evening the same time each night. My advice would be to just relax you could always ice the area before hand but I never really needed to. It's not as bad as you think I promise! Pinch the skin between 2 fingers and go for it! Once you have done a couple you will become a pro! What stimms medication are you on? Gonal F was so easy but menopur did sting a little going in I haven't tried anything else. Good luck!

where to get IVF done with own eggs?

It was a really good price. It was also recommended to me. The clinic is clean and friendly and they all speak brilliant English. A lot of my cycle was communicated via email which was preferable to me. I researched a few other clinics mainly in the Czech Republic but I got the best feel from this one and I'm glad I did as I got the result I so very much wanted. X

NEW PARENT CHAT THREAD

Hi everyone! Pip Squish started nursery at 10 months and has always loved it she has come on loads since being there and has little friends she looks forward to seeing it's the best thing we did as she would have just been with my mum all the time otherwise. She love the activities that they do as well. I echo what net says about the germs she's always picking something up!! I would like to send her more than just the one day that she does if I could afford it. Xx

ICSI stories

I too had Icsi as we had male factor issues. I had 4 icsi cycles and 1 fet and we were successful on our last full icsi cycle abroad. As net said it does all start to make sense once you get going but if you have any specific questions please ask and im sure we will try to answer. Take each day as it comes and you will be just fine. Good luck x

NEW PARENT CHAT THREAD

Hi all, Net when squish started nursery she got ill all the time and there is alway some child full of cold or something similar at the nursery luckily she is only there one day a week. My little lady's tantrums have eased a fair bit to be honest and the threat of having to sit on her bottom in time out does seem to work at the moment however she's such a strong willed little girl I sometimes think she's the one in control! We are potty training at the moment and I find it really hard some days....

Merional Injections!! Ouchie!

Indeed I believe women are tougher lol! I always injected into my tummy but yes ice the area first it does help. Also after you have injected give the area a bit of a rub. I always injected very slowly as I felt it helped. I didn't keep the area pinched as I injected not sure whether it makes a difference or not. I always felt better whilst stimming but maybe the whols process is just affecting you. I'm sure it will be worth it, keep believing that! Good luck thinking of you x

Down regulation and your period starting ....

You are welcome!! I remember how daunting it can be when you first cycle! I'm glad the headaches seem to have settled. I would love to go again but we used up all out NHS tries and used all our savings going private to have my little girl! I would definitely do it again even if it made things tight but DP is not as keen so I don't think it will happen. I guess I can hope for a little miracle you never know eh?! Xx
