Face picking in 2 yr old

Hi hon. My GD did this for a while and it turned out she had mild excema. I am not saying your LO may have this but it is just worth a mention. It is also apparently something they can do if anxious, itchy or for comfort. I would keep the fingernails as short as poss and maybe try to entice him with a comfort blanket or cuddly toy. My LO loves to fiddle with something to go off to sleep and she has her nunu blanket for that. Good luck

electronic cigarettes before treatment

Hi Hon Firstly congrats on giving up. I can't answer wether smoking an electronic cig will affect egg quality but what I done when I gave up (for the same reason as you) was to use an electronic cig without an empty cartridge. Ok you can't puff smoke out, but it is all mind over matter and just having it in my hand, putting it to my lips and blowing out nothing seemed to help. Nicotine is the addictive part so personally I would stay away from it, mainly because it will just take that one timevt...

Help! Flatulence! (TMI ALERT)

I farted like a trooper throughout all my pregnancies. The smell was rotten and vile. par for the course me thinks. My DH gaged often but in the end, he understood that I carry the baby and the smell of that fact is his part of the pregnancy

Fallopian Clearing

Hi hon Good luck with your op. I thnk it will all depend on what the surgeons find and were able too do. I had adhesions removed from my one full tube & loads of adhesions cut out from all over my womb, ovaries etc etc. I don't know if it helped with the IVF pregnancy we had a few months after. They did say I should be able to conceive but due to male actor issues also and my age they sent me off for IVF. Hope all goes well. X

Feeling inadequate

Hi my lovely. Firstly heaps of luck for your EC tomoz and may a bouncy baby be the end result for you. Secondly I think anyone who has had to have TX for a problem that THEY have, will feel a failure. It's natural. Men feel it if its their issue and we women do if it is ours. We both have issues, but spent many years thinking it was just me, so I have been there. it was actually a relief to discover it wasn't just down to me. Good luck on your journey my lovely. You are going to have some really...

Chances of conceiving naturally after having a baby - issue is male factor infertility!

Hi hOn. I don't have the answer but I have heard lots of stories. I would love, love for it to happen to us too. We also have male factor and I have issues. I am also really, really old now at 42 . We will plug away for a miracle for the next 12 months but without any desperation for it to happen. Good luck hon. X

Help!!! Baby feeding the dog ;)

I have the exact same thing going on here. I have caught my dog having a lovely lick of something and then my LO finishing it off before I could get to her. I have stopped panicking about her throwing the food at the dog. I have found that putting the dog in the garden helps some and I give my LO a little extra to try and replace what she will invariably end up giving away.

Please help, slowly going mad!!

Hi Chic I had these. I do believe they are common pains in most pregnancy. Nothing I say is going to convince you all is ok but Hopefuly that scan on Thurs will. You are going to be a nervous wreck honey after all you have been through. You are going to fret like no tomorrow and none of us can stop that. The fact DH is away will just add to your worry. You can always pop along to your nearest EPU or A&E if you get that worried. If it takes a scan a week to keep you going then thats what my Rally...

potty training - is it too early? Don't want to cause LO any harm

Hiya Bub hope you and the fam are well. I dont think your too early. A mum knows her child and I say try whenever you feel ready. The worst that can happen is you may end up putting it off for a while and restart it in a bit. The best thing that can happen is you have an early clean baba. Good luck Chic

Thyroid Problem? Worried about baby!

hey Chic I have an overactive thyroid and have had for many years. Thyroid problems appearing in pregnancy are quite common BTW so I really wouldnt go stressing out hon. They will just give you some meds to help and ones that are safe to use in pregnancy and as AG said they will check baba over as soon as they are born. Its going to be just fine my lovely.
